Fort Myers Karate

We are heartbroken to share that Sensei Jeff “Daitsuke” Lentz passed away peacefully in his sleep.
Jeff and his family were treasured members of our dojo family for more than eight years. He was a fierce competitor, a respected coach, and a constant source of encouragement to everyone around him. Jeff achieved the rank of Yon Dan and was given the karate name “Daitsuke,” meaning “great helper” or “great blessing” — a name that truly reflected the impact he had on so many of us.
Sensei, we will always remember your positive spirit, your encouraging words, your endless curiosity and your kind, generous heart. Your legacy will live on in our dojo and in the lives of all those you inspired. Domo Arigato Gozaimasu.

What a great tournament. Thank you AAU Florida Karate and Sensei Dave and Sensei Kelly. Pictures can't capture the excitement but helps others see what Fort Myes Karate competition training and perseverance produce. And The most important, the inner character being developed, is shown through the strength of the athletes, parents *toryu and coaches.
