PELICAN'S SNOBALLS BATTLE!!!
HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29TH - 7PM
HOW it works:
When you purchase a Pelican’s Snoball, you will let them know which school you are supporting. Then you will be given either a RED (Sentinels) or BLUE (Kings) ticket after your purchase. That ticket should then be dropped into a bucket near the vendors truck.
During the 1st water break of the THIRD Quarter, the AD from each school will then draw tickets at the 50 yard line.
The school with 3 out of 5 tickets will win a Pelican’s Snoball party for their schools varsity football team.

Alumni! Consider helping out fellow ECS alum Jon Roedding, class of 2007. Jon was a marine and currently works for the sheriffs office as a road deputy. He was in a serious motorcycle accident and has a long road of recovery ahead of him.

Celebration of Life for Matt Gerl.
When: Saturday, January 9th at 2:00 p.m.
Where: Citygate Ministries located at 1735 Jackson Street, Fort Myers, FL.
The service will be livestreamed through YouTube at CitygateTV for those who cannot attend. A BBQ reception will follow after the service.

ECS Alumni doing BIG THINGS!!
ECS class of 2016! Henry Valentine has received the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University's Physical Sciences Department of Engineering Physics "Outstanding Scholar Award". They give this award to the top student who earns a 4.0 GPA upon graduation. It has never happened before that two students had basically identical credentials, so the award was presented to both Henry and his best friend.
Henry is working with professor Dr. Barjatya in the Space and Atmospheric Instrumentation Lab on developing probes that are intended for NASA's Mars Mission. As an enticement from Dr. B., Henry has also decided to bypass the masters program and accept the offer to go straight into the Ph. D program for Engineering Physics, while working on the probe instrumentation.
Henry's family credits ECS with the "educational and spiritual foundations" that their three children have obtained!

Ben Specht, a member of the ECS Class of 2018, was experiencing a breakout Sophomore year with the University of Florida Gators before the COVID-19 pandemic closed their campus and shutdown all spring sports. The Gators, with a record of 16-1, are ranked as the number one college baseball team in the country.
During the shortened season, Ben had a record of 2-0 with an ERA of .075, which is ranked second among relievers. Both wins came against the third ranked Miami Hurricanes. Additionally, Ben posted two saves against Troy and South Florida.
We are extremely proud of Ben and all of our ECS Alum! GO Sentinels!
