FGCU Sociology Club

FGCU Sociology Club We meet every Thursday from 4:30-5:30 PM in Reed Hall 139 - our general topic for this semester will revolve around race, gender, and capitalism!

FGCU Sociology Club promotes intellectual involvement among the FGCU campus and surrounding community, stimulating interest in sociology as well awareness of social issues that affect us all. The Sociology Club provides resources and fosters connections between students and those in the sociological field, along with connecting them with associations on campus. In turn the FGCU Sociology Club seeks to create opportunities for students’ success, and also bring awareness to different perspectives in the world we live in. Our goal is to foster connections within the FGCU community in hopes to bridge relationships between many different organizations, and show that we can all benefit from getting a sociological mind set about the world.
