CLK Festivities provides live continuing education for pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians in Southwest Florida.

Our annual event, the "Charities and Maladies" Continuing Education Weekend, is held each June at DiamondHead Beach Resort on Fort Myers Beach. Its purpose is two-fold:

Due to event restrictions on Fort Myers Beach, the 17th Annual “Charities and Maladies” CE Weekend has been postponed. The event has been rescheduled for August 15-16 weekend. More information to follow!!

CLK Festivities is pleased to announce the 17th Annual "Charities and Maladies" Continuing Education Weekend! The event will be held on June 6-7, 2020, at DiamondHead Beach Resort on Fort Myers Beach.

The educational program will include 12 hours of Consultant Pharmacist or General CE, approved for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians:

ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AND DEMENTIA (3 HOURS)

SUNDAY, JUNE 7
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S HEALTH (5 HOURS)
- Overview of Endometriosis
- Is There a Bathroom Nearby?
- BHRT 101
- Infertility: An Overview
- Gender Differences in Cardiovascular Disease

A new 2-hour Florida-approved program, "Best Practices for Safe Prescribing and Dispensing of Controlled Substances" will be offered on Sunday, June 7th.

CLK Festivities is pleased to announce that the "Charities and Maladies" Continuing Education Weekend will offer its first ever Consultant Pharmacist program! The 16th annual event will be held on June 8-9, 2019, at DiamondHead Beach Resort on Fort Myers Beach.

Educational partners for the 12-hour program include NSU/Publix, LeeHealth/Golisano Children's Hospital, DiabetesinControl Newsletter/E-zine & Website, Operation PAR, Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Florida Cancer Specialists, USA Opioid Crisis Mortality Reduction Project and USF School of Pharmacy. Olga Wydner, RN, PharmD will present 2-hours FL-approved Medication Errors to conclude the program.

Registration is now open online: www.clkfestivities.com for both the Consultant Track and General Track. I am still finalizing a few programs for the General Track and should have those details available soon.
