This May 1st, we’re celebrating our amazing seniors at the Senior Awards—which also happens to be National Decision Day! We want to celebrate your next chapter, but we need your help to make sure everyone can see where you’re headed!
Seniors:
Wear a shirt representing the college or path you’ve chosen for next year.
Choose a shirt with a large, bold logo!
We want your future home to be crystal clear in photos and from across the room. Small pocket logos are hard to see—let’s make those school colors pop!

Huge thank you to Caila Rodriguez from Full Sail University for stopping by to show us what’s possible in the world of entertainment and media.
It was wild to hear that Full Sail alums have their fingerprints all over some major projects, including:
🎮 Call of Duty
🎤 Jack Harlow & Beyoncé
🎬 Top Gun: Maverick
🕷️ Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
Whether they’re working as artists, music technicians, or project managers, these pros are proving that creativity + tech is a winning combo.
Full Sail is located in Winter Park and shares our status as an Apple Distinguished School. It’s great to see a university leaning into the same tech-forward mindset we use every day in the classroom at Bishop Verot!

At Verot, Siddalee serves as President of the Thespian Society, is the stage manager for The Little Mermaid, and is a Community Leader for the Community of St. Cecilia, where she also leads the school in prayer each Thursday. 📢 BIG UPDATE for Future Auburn, LSU, & Alabama Students! 📢
Starting with the Class of 2027, test scores are BACK in play! 📝 If you’re planning on applying to LSU, Auburn, or Alabama, the SAT or ACT are officially required parts of the application process.
This change marks a shift from the test-optional policies we’ve seen recently. If you’re currently a high school sophomore or younger, this is your heads-up: it’s time to start planning your test prep!
What this means for you:
Make a plan: Don’t wait until the last minute. Start researching test dates and exploring prep resources.
Take practice tests: Get a baseline score and identify areas where you need to improve.
Focus on academics: Strong grades and a challenging course load are always important, but test scores will now be another critical data point in the review process.
Stay informed: Keep an eye on the official admissions websites for all three schools for the most up-to-date information.
The admission landscape is always evolving. This announcement might feel like extra pressure, but you’ve got time! Use this lead time to your advantage, create a solid test prep schedule, and don’t be afraid to ask for help along the way.
You’ve got this! Start preparing now, and you’ll be ready when applications open for the Class of 2027. 💪
