After tonight's storm surge and amount of flooding locally, SFCA will be closed Friday, 9/27. We're praying for your safety and plan on reopening Monday, 9/30 as normal.

Had to opportunity to meet a lovely woman and author, Ronda Friend. You can find her biblically based books at sunflowerseedspress.com. Her dual readers are perfect for preschool and elementary age children. She even has AR books! Next time she’s in town we would love to have her stop by for a reading!

Good afternoon MELA Family,

Due to the potential path of Hurricane Ian and the severe weather that it will bring, the decision has been made to close MELA on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. We believe this decision is in the best interest of our students, families, and staff as we prepare for this hurricane, flooding, and possible power outages in our area.

Administration will meet on campus Thursday to assess the school/grounds and make the final determination of opening on Friday. We will keep you informed via social media, email and One Call Now as to our planned reopening on Friday.

Please take all necessary precautions to keep your family safe and healthy.
