We watched this caterpillar make a cocoon for an hour. Now days later, we watch it shift and move. One of our practices will be to base lessons and activities around what kids notice and are interested in around them. Exploratory and purposeful learning ❤️

Just kidding! We don’t assign homework! Research actually shows homework to be ineffective. Also- a recent study showed that kids should have 6 hours of exploratory creative play in a DAY! This helps shape the brain for problem solving, critical thinking and conflict resolution.

Hands on learning at the farm everyday! I’ve had fun exploring a “miniature scavenger hunt” as part of one of our enrichment themes!
