Isabel Rimanoczy, Ed.D. has made it her life purpose to promote change accelerators. Aware of the complex challenges our planet (and us in it) are facing, she works alongside those who can make an impact on a greater scale. She developed the sustainability mindset, a concept she researched by studying business leaders who championed corporate initiatives with a positive impact on the environment a

nd the community. What inspired these leaders to act in a business-as-unusual way? She is the Coordinator of the UN PRME Working Group on Sustainability Mindset. The Working Group brings together educators promoting the sustainability mindset. She is a visiting Professor at Al-Akhawayn University, Morocco. She is the Global Ambassador or AIM2Flourish. She is the author of twelve books, the latest : The Sustainability Mindset Principles: A guide to developing a mindset for a better world. She is a senior partner with Leadership in Motion LLC and co-founder of the charitable organization Minervas: Women Changing the World. Isabel earned her doctorate at Columbia University, has her MBA from Universidad de Palermo and a BA in Psychology from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Nos inventé un feriado

Hoy es 15 de Octubre.
Oh! Está marcado en mi corazón
que en 1949 se conocieron mis padres.
Eligieron un 15, en marzo , para la boda,
y hasta donde mi memoria alcanza
cada 15 de un mes había un momento de celebración.
Mi padre le compraba flores
o tal vez ella preparaba su plato favorito
Algunas veces salían a tomar un cafecito
O un aperitivo.
Nada grandioso, no había regalos,
pero cada mes tenía una puntuación,
un día con un saludo “happy happy”,
entre ellos.

Hoy despierto y está marcado en mi corazón,
como si yo y mi hermana fuésemos testigos
de una fiesta sin alardeos, privada pero no tanto.
Me pregunto si este hábito
que nunca parecía automático, ni obligación,
fue un recordatorio periódico
de las prioridades, del amor.
Nunca lo conversamos
nunca fue un tema.
Simplemente, sucedía.

Hoy, cuando mi calendario
me indica que día es feriado
en un país o en otro,
y cuándo debo un saludo
para algún cumpleaños,
he decidido
inventarnos un feriado.
Para nosotros, esta familia, las hijas
que de ese encuentro nacieron.
Para sus esposos,
que se beneficiaron del evento.
Sus hijos, los nietos que les siguieron,
los bisnietos, Dante y Zac.

He decidido inventarnos un feriado,
también privado, pero no tanto.
Un recordatorio anual,
De las prioridades, del amor.
