Hi everyone,

It’s the 2025-2026 school year and let me just say, we are off to rough start. The government may be shutting down and these teacher shortages are crazy. However, we educators are holding on for dear life and trying to do our best to help the future generations.

I am wishing you the best of luck to this year for all school staff, parents, and students. Here are three things I hope you carry with you this year.

1) A smile - you may not always feel it, but there will always be someone who needs it
2) A book/notepad/phone: This year is about dreams, make sure you take notes of your goals and how to make that happen
3) Kindness: It is not just holding the door for someone, it is listening with active ears and instead of giving advice ask, “what do you need in this moment?” The answer may surprise you.

At Ms. Jamerly Tutoring, I help Kindergarten to 3rd Grade students build strong reading, writing, and math skills. I use a warm and positive approach that meets each child where they are, encourages them to set goals, and celebrates their progress. My lessons are hands-on, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs—especially helpful for early readers and English Language Learners. A typical session includes a fun warm-up, focused instruction, independent practice, and a short reflection. What sets me apart is my experience as a certified teacher, my bilingual support, and the customized growth programs I create to show real results over time. I also teach beginner Spanish to adults. Whether your child needs help with the alphabet, sight words, or building confidence in math, my tutoring provides a safe and supportive space to grow.
