What a wonderful morning to kick of the Thanksgiving spirit. We had our monthly Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Gathering at the park, with this incredible weather.
We did breathing exercises; 👃
Yoga postures with gratitude intentions for the air, the sun, earth, water, and the trees; 🙏
We sang songs and danced; 🎶
AND we plant a seed to be nourished by the air, water, earth, and the Sun and grow as big as a tree. 🌱
Mindful Homeschooling can be so much fun.

Our November event has been scheduled!!! Join us for some Thanksgiving fun!!! The theme is 🙏
This month we will celebrate thanksgiving and learn about gratitude.
-Starting with a breathing exercise
-Kids “Nature Gratitude” YOGA (as we exercise and learn about nature)
-MUSIC TIME
-Nature Activity: planting a seed and bringing your own seed to sprout and grow at home (supplies provided)
BRING A YOGA MAT, WATER & SNACK
We will meet at Dr Elizabeth Hays Civic Park (Riverland Rd)
Suggested donation $10 - $20

Our theme today was BUGS 🐜
-We did a BREATHING EXERCISE imitating the sound of 🐝 (breathing exercises can relax the body the mind and kids focus and be in touch with their bodies)
-We did the butterfly 🦋 and the cobra/ worm 🐛 YOGA postures (stretches the body giving kids flexibility, strength, and also helps coordination)
-We got the heart rate up jumping like crickets 🦗(burning some energy and having great fun)
-MUSIC: we sang the BUGS SONG, remembering the bugs we just explored above and we danced, sang along and had fun.
-NATURE LEARNING: we walked around the playground, searching for the bugs, learning about them and checking them in our handouts
