Color matching window art
Just a quick and easy activity we did before the sun went down.
Baby boy couldnโt reach the top and instead of getting his chair to stand on, he decided to gather the sofa and dolls to give him some extra height.
&
Baby girl wanted to be part of the action so I let her hold the tape.
How did you end your night??

After seeing and her giant bubble video, I knew I had to make some giant bubbles with the kiddos. But, because we didnโt have giant bubble wands, I decided to look around the house and use pieces I already had to make one. This is what I came up with. ๐
WHAT YOULL NEED:
- 12โ x 1/4โ dowel
- One 3mm 33โ cotton string
- One 3mm 65โ cotton string
- 1 Washer
- 2 Soda can pops
- Hot glue gun
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Hot glue gun the soda can pops onto one end of each dowel
(Make sure to leave one hole open). Really secure the soda pop by gluing all around it. Let the glue dry completely before moving onto the next step. You now have two wand handles.
2. Tie one end of the 65โ string to one of the secured soda pop.
3. Slide the washer through the same 65โ string then, tie of the other end to the second secured soda pop.
4. Do the same with the 33โ string, this time without any washer.

Can you believe itโs almost Halloween??
Are you putting up decors this year??
Iโm not really big on decorating but, with all the diy arts and Crafts weโve been doing, I might just put my baby to work and spruce up the house with some cute ghost garlands and more.
This diy ghost garland is a great way to get your toddlers to practice gross/fine motor skills along with growing their confidence, a sense of pride and achievement. Especially, when you hang it up for its purpose.
For this DIY
YOUโLL NEED:
- 6 ghost cutouts
- cotton balls
- glue
- 6 pairs of googly eyes ๐
- 73โ string (preferably 2mm or more in thickness)
- clear tape
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Rip apart the cotton balls into small pieces
2. Use glue to stick them all over the ghost cutouts
3. Add a pair of eyes to each ghost
4. Flip them over so the backside is facing up.
5. Measure out 19โ on each end of the string (this is where your first and last ghost will be taped) and 7โ in between each ghost. Make sure to tape the string closer to the top of the ghost. Otherwise, it may flip over when hung.
๐Enjoy decorating!

Baby girls first time finger painting ๐๐จ
Canโt tell if she enjoyed it or not ๐ค but bb definitely did!
A thankful reminder from to continue our journey on letter reveals (slightly different methods but similar ๐คทโโ๏ธ). Go check out her post on filling in numbers!
Here, we worked on the letters A, C, & S - all the letters in his name!
This activity is great for letter recognition and gets your little ones to practice their fine motor skills by painting/ coloring and pulling off tape (the most satisfying part). Who doesnโt love pulling off tape after a paint job??
Hereโs what youโll need:
- Cardboard or Canvas
- masking tape
- paint (you can use any coloring tools you have available)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Make any letter using the masking tape.
2. Use your coloring tools and make sure to color/ paint all around the taped areas.
3. Slowly pull the tape off and reveal your letter! (If you use paint, like we did, make sure to let it dry first)
*Hereโs an extra optional step for your toddler to engage for with the letter*
4. Have them trace the letter with their fingers, a clean paint brush or even a q-tip!
Would you try this method to introduce the alphabets to your little ones? Donโt forget to tag us if you do, weโd love to see your little ones think ๐
