When you own, live aboard and travel by boat, there’s always something to clean or fix. Sometimes, “fixing” something is completely unplanned, as was an issue we just had with our MaxProp on our port side. Turns out there’s a 4th grease port which wasn’t, causing the collar to seize. Fixable yes, but this is why we have been working with Laurent Facchin, Chad and the team at Just Catamarans in Dania Beach, FL for over 6 years! It’s a massive relief to know we can call Laurent and team and always get help! It’s like calling a friend that’s always there for you! And that, is priceless! 👍

We’re powering through Hells Gate on this Leopard 53 power catamaran, keeping a steady watch on depth and traffic, then out to the open, sunny expanse of the Long Island Sound. A day of practical navigation, little spray, and big views for everyone on board. 😎

Our East Marine Boats Elite360 tender has kept us safe and comfortable in the US and Bahamas for the past 6 months. It delivers an incredibly smooth ride even on chop, with solid power and speed that keep up with our adventures. Inside, practical storage and a quality stereo add everyday convenience, and navigation lights help with easy evening cruises. One of our absolute favorite features is the aft steps that make it so easy to get back in the dinghy. Everyone on board loves taking turns at the helm.

Living on a boat can be challenging at times, especially when trying to eat healthy. The best approach is to establish good provisioning habits, plan meals, and be self-sufficient—such as growing our own herbs and sprouts, sourcing from local farmers and having ample refrigeration for long-term storage. This will make our journey more rewarding and fun and also help us stay healthy without ever needing to eat from a can. 🌱🐠⛵️
Here are some tips and suggestions!
