Achieving Excellence Together WSWHE BOCES is a public educational institution that serves 31 school districts in the greater Saratoga-Adirondack region.
We develop, implement, and coordinate a wide variety of educational courses and services that are too expensive for school districts to support on their own. While we primarily focus on Pre-K-12, more adults are looking to WSWHE BOCES to learn skilled trades. Employers in our region want to hire qualified workers, and WSWHE BOCES can help you obtain the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary
for these positions. We provide programs in some of our 31 school districts and at the following locations:
• F. Donald Myers Education Center, Saratoga Springs
• Southern Adirondack Education Center, Hudson Falls
• Ballard Road Conference Center, Wilton
• Sanford Street Teaching and Learning Center, Glens Falls
• Adult Continuing Education, Saratoga Springs and Hudson Falls
If you would like to offer an educational program in a high-demand area, please PM us; we are always looking for new courses for adults and K-12 enrichment (particularly STEM-related). A scholarship and a clear path forward!
Heavy Equipment Operation and Maintenance student John Vastardis recently received a scholarship from Casella Waste Systems as he prepares to continue his education at SUNY Cobleskill.
Opportunities like this reflect the strong partnerships that help connect classroom learning with career pathways. Through hands-on training and guidance from instructor Greg Hammond, students gain the skills employers and industry partners value.
We appreciate Casella's investment in the next generation of skilled professionals and wish John continued success in the field.
