In weeks 10 and 11, our ANEQ 193 students dove into career exploration and navigation! 🌟
πŸ’Ό In week 10, they learned about career competencies and why these skills are essential for success.
🎯 In week 11, the joined us to share insights on career exploration and how to start a job search with confidence.
These two weeks are helping students gear up for their Career Exploration Project β€” setting them on the path to future success! πŸš€

Weeks 10 and 11 were all about career preparation for our ANEQ 293 students! πŸ’Όβœ¨
πŸ„ In week 10, we welcomed Katie Speidel, PV Quality Manager at Aurora Organic Dairy, who shared amazing insights into the dairy industry, possible career paths, and the skills needed to succeed.
🌟 In week 11, students learned how to prepare for interviews, practiced strategies for success, and got ready to shine in their upcoming mock job interviews.
We’re excited to see all their hard work pay off as they build confidence for their future careers!

Our 2025 Animal Sciences Involvement Fair was a great success! We had a total participation of 483 with students, faculty, staff, community, and campus partners all in attendance. That is a 17% increase from our last involvement fair! To break it down 346 students attended. We also welcomed 137 vendors, consisting of faculty, staff, and community partners. And finally, 35 groups for students to learn about, interact with, and consider getting involved with. We are so grateful to everyone who helped this event become such a success!
