Great day bringing PSD IB K-12 educators together! Collaboration matters as we continue building the best opportunities for our students, staff, and community.

What a fun day celebrating grad walks with our students. It was awesome seeing students reconnect with former teachers, say thank you, and reflect on how far they’ve come. The IB journey was definitely on display all day long!

Yesterday marked the final IB exam of the 2026 testing season! 🎉

Our small but mighty cohort of IB Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches (AA) Higher Level (HL) students closed out this year’s exam session by taking on one of the most rigorous courses in the IB Diploma Programme. This calculus-heavy course challenges students to think deeply, prove formally, and tackle abstract mathematical concepts at the highest level — a fitting finale to an incredible month of hard work.

Over the past 3+ weeks, Poudre IB students completed 33 IB exams across 23 subjects, representing:
➕ 147 registrations in 10 Higher Level courses
➕ 173 registrations in 13 Standard Level courses

That kind of success takes a village. Thank you to our IB Leadership Team, parent proctors, teachers, counselors, library staff, PE department, custodial staff and the entire Poudre community for supporting our students through every early morning, long afternoon, and stressful exam day.

From April 28 through May 20, our students joined nearly 200,000 IB students worldwide in this shared experience — a reminder that their hard work connects them to something much bigger.

✨ Student voice matters — and these three made theirs count! ✨

This year, Poudre IB Diploma Programme seniors Linh D., Anahi P., and Mayley M. represented PHS on the Poudre School District Student Advisory Council (StAC), serving as student leaders and advocates for their peers across the district.

Through StAC, students meet directly with the Poudre School District Board of Education and district leaders to share their experiences, provide feedback, and help shape district initiatives, school culture, and future policies. Their voices help ensure students have a meaningful role in decisions that impact schools across PSD.

🚣‍♀️📦 Making waves at the 32nd Annual Poudre High School Cardboard Boat Races! 🌊

This beloved PHS tradition brought creativity, teamwork, and plenty of excitement to Getts Park this weekend as students put their engineering skills to the test—using nothing but cardboard, tape, and determination. From imaginative designs to impressive showmanship, every team showed what it means to think outside the box (or boat 😉).

Congratulations to all of our racers for building, paddling, and problem-solving their way through another unforgettable day on the water. Here’s to 32 years of innovation, collaboration, and cardboard craftsmanship! 💙

Decision Day at PHS 🎓✨

On Monday, Poudre High School seniors came together to celebrate their next steps—college, careers, service, and everything in between. 💙

As part of the day, seniors shared advice for those still on their high school journey:

Be involved. Try new things. Go to events, games, and dances. Find your people. Take a variety of classes. Reach out to teachers. Be yourself. Stay positive. Do your work (on time 😉). Enjoy the process.

💭 Looking back, many wish they had…
Taken more diverse classes, tried new sports and clubs, been more outgoing, stressed less, planned ahead, and truly lived in the moment.

🎯 When it comes to postsecondary plans…
Start early. Stay organized. Visit schools. Explore your options. And yes—apply for those scholarships!

❤️ Words of wisdom:
Work hard. Be kind. Ask for help. Take care of your mental health. Push yourself, but give yourself grace. You’re capable of more than you think.
