Happy to share that I’ll be participating in the 2026 Sculpture in the Square through the Downtown Development Authority . My Garden Sculpture will be installed in Old Town alongside five other artists for the coming year. Installation begins at the end of April — looking forward to seeing it out in the world.
Huge thanks to my very good friend for snapping these amazing photos.

The Swan and the Koi - 13 layers, 1mm stainless steel, 5” x 10.5”

My next market will be at .tbl brewhouse on December 6th 3-7pm.

It’s such a rewarding feeling to see your work in its new home. Luna looks incredible installed in this client’s house. The natural grass wallpaper and the piece’s subtle brown gradient are a perfect match. This was edition six of ten, and I could’t be happier with how it turned out.

I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries about these lanterns so I thought I would do a little Q&A.
Q. Will these be available for sale?
A. Yes! They will be available for sale through my store in the next month (Link in bio). Since this is a departure from my usual flat wall sculptures I want to work out all of the details before releasing some for sale.
Q. What size is the lantern?
A. The lanterns will be offered in two sizes 15” and 24” tall.
Q. Will the lanterns be sold as a table top light or hanging pendant?
A. Both. You will be able to choose size, colors and format (tabletop or hanging) on the product page.
Q. Will the hanging pendant format be setup to hardwire into a ceiling?
A. Yes. You can choose between two hanging setups. A hardwire version with a ceiling mount disk and open end wires or a cord with a plug and hang points so you can hang it from any hook or lamp support.
Q. What type of bulb does the lantern use?
A. The lantern comes with an 1100lumen, 2700k Edison style LED bulb. It has a standard medium E26, E27 base and will accept any normal household light bulb. I spent weeks trying out different light sources and finally settled on this bulb for a few reasons. It creates a really warm soft practical light. This bulb creates some light variations that tend to dance and sparkle around the room but not too many shadows that you can’t sit down and read a book under your favorite lantern. But if you wish you can replace this bulb with any standard base light bulb.
Please let me know if you have any questions about anything that’s not covered here already. I’m very excited to release these in the next coming days!!

Happy fall everyone! My favorite time of year and favorite type of weather. I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce myself, my shop assistants and my new work.
I’m Robert Klose, full time artist working out of Fort Collins, CO. I work mostly with laser cut layered plywood. I enjoy making wall sculptures out of this medium. Much of my inspiration comes from the surrounding nature and natural elements of northern Colorado. I also study a lot of old world architecture from around the world.
When I’m not creating art you can probably catch me outside running trails. I love endurance running and try to run a few races each year to keep my mind and body in shape.

My shop assistants Hank and Dean are always around and having a good time. They mostly just play and eat stuff. And leave fur everywhere🐶
My newest series is named Journey and depicts our journey through this life. My latest installment in the series Journey 2.5 is a 13 layered sculpture measuring 61” x 45” and is a must see in person. Learn more about the series on my website robertkloselaserart.com. Or experience the series in person at the following events
