What a great first week for our Barkley Beavers! Our PreK students join us on Monday and we’re so excited!

Monday also starts our Kindergarten Color Days and the whole school is invited to join in on the fun to help our Kinders learn their colors!

We are excited to welcome our UPK/PSCD Families on Monday!

📚🎉 First Day of School Information for UPK/PSCD Families 🎉📚

⏰ Doors Open: 8:00 AM
🥞 Breakfast Available: 8:00 AM
📖 Instruction Begins: 8:30 AM

Morning Arrival Procedures

Please note: For student safety and to support a smooth start to the school day, parents will not be permitted to enter the building or walk students to class. Our staff will be available to assist students as they arrive and help them get where they need to go safely.

🚶‍♂️Walkers ✅ Enter through the side entrance next to the enclosed playground.

🚗 Car Riders

✅ Drop-off will take place in front of the building. Parking is NOT PERMITTED.

✅ Students will enter through the front doors.

🚌 Bus Riders & Car Riders

✅ Staff members will be available throughout the building to help students to their classrooms and morning locations.

🚶 Walker Dismissal-UPK/

UPK Students ✅ 100% ID check for student release to an adult at the side entrance, next to the enclosed playground.

📋 Important Reminder

Please ensure your child's teacher knows how your student will be dismissed each day by completing the blue contact card distributed during Sneak-A-Peek.

⚠️

For your child's safety, please establish one consistent dismissal routine. An alternate plan may be designated for emergencies or inclement weather.

Our newest little Beavers got a special sneak peek at Barkley Elementary! From exploring the school to meeting new faces, our Pre-K students are getting ready for a year filled with learning, growing, and lots of Beaver pride!
