If you are currently pursuing our AS/BS in Aeronautics, AS/BS in Aviation Maintenance, or AS/BS in Technical Management, we have some on-site courses available for you this March!

ASCI 309 Aerodynamics provides students with the opportunity to explore incompressible flow airfoil theory and wing theory. Topics center on calculation of stall speed, drag and basic performance criteria, configuration changes, high and low speed conditions, special flight conditions, and an introduction to compressible flow. Course prerequisites are generally MATH 111 or 140 and PHYS 102 or 150.

STAT 211 Statistics w/ Aviation Applications helps students to apply basic descriptive and inferential statistics, identify types of data and sampling techniques, compute and interpret measures of central tendency, dispersion, elementary probability, confidence intervals, hypothesis tests and linear regressions. Course prerequisites are generally MATH 111 or 140.

If you’ve always been fascinated with Space, we have options for you! Our BS in Aeronautics pairs very nicely with a minor in Space Studies. This minor will give you an introduction to Space flight, operations training, and Space navigation.

If you’re looking for a graduate program, check out our MS in Aeronautics where you can specialize in Space Operations as well. This specialization will expand your knowledge of observation and remote sensing, Space habitation, and launch operations.
