Lt. General John E. Jackson, http://Jr., the Academy's ninth president, was laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery this morning with full military honors. Current and past members of the Academy's administration and faculty were in attendance for the ceremony, including the Academy's current acting president, Stephen Macek, who was serving as a middle school science teacher when General Jackson arrived on campus more than three decades ago.

Today we celebrated a special milestone, our seventh graders promoted to eighth grade in a wonderful ceremony.
