According to data from the CDC, more than 80% of infants are breastfed for some period of time. However, breastfeeding rates drop quickly as parents return to work reducing the number to less than 45%. We can assume these numbers drop for various reasons, the biggest one being lack of support. Breastfeeding and returning to work isn't an easy feat but can be accomplished with the proper guidance and support.
