Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Tullos’ Pre-K classes had fun reading The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza!

As they read the story, students learned about following a recipe, putting the steps in the correct order, and how different ingredients come together to make something delicious.

Our little chefs got to create their very own pizzas using real ingredients! 🍕👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

What a fun and tasty way to bring a story to life through hands-on learning!

IF OUR TEACHERS WEREN’T TEACHERS… WHAT WOULD THEY BE? 👀

Our Forest Elementary teachers may spend their days shaping young minds, but we wanted to know… what would they be if they weren’t teachers?! 👀😂

From future chefs and firefighters to doctors, police officers, models, and so much more — our teachers have some pretty interesting careers waiting for them! 😂

🎬 Take a look and see what our teachers chose!

🏀❤️💙 Buckets with the Lady Bearcats! 💙❤️🏀

On Wednesday, September 23, our Bearcats who earned 200 PBIS points enjoyed a fun-filled time with the FHS Lady Bearcats! Students had the opportunity to watch the Lady Bearcats in action during a scrimmage game! 🏀🐾

We are proud of our students for demonstrating positive behavior and making great choices! A special THANK YOU to the FHS Lady Bearcats for helping us celebrate our students and making this event so much fun!

Keep earning those PBIS points, Bearcats! ❤️💙🐾

As part of their Social Studies curriculum, third graders in Ms. Plaisance and Mrs. McLemore’s classes are practicing being active, responsible, cooperative and supportive in their classroom community by fulfilling a variety of school jobs weekly.

One of these jobs is hallway monitor. Scott County Sheriff Mike Lee recently donated some gear to the classes for students to wear as they monitor their classmates modeling school expectations in the hallway.

We appreciate Sheriff Lee and all our community partners supporting our students!💙🐾
