Save the dates, plan those outfits, and get ready to pack the stands as our HMS Bearcats take the court this season. We need our families, students, staff, alumni, and community showing up loud and proud! ❤️💙

Take a look at the schedule, screenshot it, share it, and start making plans now. Let’s make sure our Bearcats feel the support of the entire Pack at every game!

🌟 Shoutout to our amazing 6th Grade Team!🌟

A huge thank you to our 6th grade teachers for hosting a grade-level Parent Night and keeping our families informed, connected, and equipped to support their students. ❤️💙

We also want to thank every parent and guardian who took the time to show up, ask questions, listen, and partner with us. Your presence matters, and your involvement makes a difference in your child’s success.

Strong schools are built through strong partnerships, and nights like this matter. When our teachers and families work together, our students have an even stronger team surrounding them and helping them succeed.

We appreciate our 6th Grade Team and our 6th grade families for continuing to show up, put in the extra time, and do what it takes for our scholars. 🐾

That’s PAWS in action: working like it matters, because our students absolutely do!⭐

We might be a little biased, but HMS’s neighbors at 180 Church are the kind of neighbors everybody needs! ❤️💙

A big thank-you to Mr. Cameron Bender and Mrs. Chasity Bender for thinking of our staff and showing up with gifts and encouragement. Our team pours so much into our students, and it means a lot when our community pours a little love back into them!

We’re grateful for good neighbors, caring relationships, and the reminder that we have people cheering us on beyond our school walls. Thank you for loving on the Hawkins crew! 🐾

🌟 Meet the people who make Hawkins Middle School, THE HAWK!🌟

Our HMS Staff Spotlight celebrates the incredible people who show up each day to teach, serve, encourage, coach, lead, and pour into our scholars. ❤️💙🐾

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Coach Victor Perez!

Our HMS basketball players are asking you to purchase a shirt, and I’m just saying… if you have coaching advice to offer from the bleachers, you might as well wear a team shirt while you give it. 😂🏀

Support our Bearcats by purchasing a shirt through the Booster Club! ❤️💙

Parents and Guardians,

Please note that our 1st Nine Weeks testing schedule has been adjusted slightly. We want to make sure everyone has the most current information as we prepare for testing.

Please review the updated testing schedule carefully and help us ensure students are present, on time, well-rested, and ready to do their best each day.

Thank you for your continued support of our scholars!

🚨BENCHMARKS HAVE ENTERED THE CHAT.🚨

Bearcats, starting September 23, it is time to put the pencils to work and show us what you actually know. 😅

A few reminders before testing week gets here:

“I was going to change my answer” does not count as a strategy.
“I picked B because we had not used B in a while” is also not a strategy. 😂
Finishing first does not earn bonus points.
Reading the question twice might save you from getting it wrong once.

We want our scholars rested, focused, confident, and ready to give their best effort. These benchmarks help us measure growth, celebrate what students have mastered, and identify exactly where we need to keep pushing.

Every question matters. Every point matters. Every scholar matters.

Study. Sleep. Eat breakfast. Read carefully. Take your time.

🐾 Bearcats, let’s make the data tell the story of the work you have been putting in.
