Tech Tip Tuesday: Pause and Check

Just because something appears online doesn’t mean it’s accurate.

Before believing or sharing information:
• Look for a trusted source
• Check the date
• See if more than one reliable place says the same thing

Taking a moment to check helps slow the spread of misinformation—and protects you from being misled.

Tech Tip Tuesday: Slow Curiosity for the Win

You don’t need to understand everything about technology, and definitely not all at once.

It’s okay to:
• Say “I don’t know what this means”
• Ask questions
• Learn slowly about what’s useful or interesting to you

Technology keeps changing—but learning works best when you’re enjoying it and there’s no pressure to keep up.

Tech Tip Tuesday: Use What’s Already There

Your phone or computer already has tools designed to help you.
That might include:
• accessibility features (larger text, voice controls)
• built-in help or support sections
• search tools inside settings

Sometimes you don’t need special apps or extra downloads to get support - often, the help you need is already built in.
