There is so much history and culture here in Mexico City. It has been fantastic to have Joel (who just hit his 4 year mark of being a missionary in Mexico City) here to teach and guide us. We started out with some helpful training on Catholicism and Lady of Guadalupe. It is a little heartbreaking to see so much devotion in something with no eternal hope. But the young adults are doing fantastic! We were a few of the 20 million people who visit the Basilica of Santa María de Guadalupe each year.

On a trip to Mexico City it is expected that someone will get 🤢. This group set a new record! 8 out of 10 had to take the day off, but fortunately doctor visits are inexpensive and recovery time is less than 24 hours. We would appreciate your prayers! We just finished some training on immigration and how we should respond biblically, here and at home.

Say hello to Joel! He is a full-time missionary with ReachGlobal and is part of the Mexico City team. He is a great guy who loves to share the gospel and loves to invite people to Mexico City. He partners with Apex and put all the work of organizing the schedule for the week.

These nice people dropped me off at the airport. I’m on my way. ✈️ DBQ ➡️ ORD ➡️ MEX. I’m leading a group of college students from NY to our Mexico City site. Pray for us and our time there!

We get together twice a year for an Apex team meeting to think, plan, laugh, and see each other’s faces. We would appreciate prayer as we get ready for the 650+ HS students that will be on Apex trips this summer.
