Christ Among Us Food Pantry Christ Among Us Food Pantry is sponsored by Fordsville area churches. The food pantry is open:
Thursdays 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Mondays 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

When a major holiday falls on Thursday, we will be open the day before and be closed on the holiday. If the holiday is on a Monday, we will be closed. We are closed both Christmas and Christmas Eve. Closures for inclement weather will be based on the conditions and posted on our page.

Young children need nutritious food to support cognitive, social, emotional, language, and motor development during the first three years of life. Hunger in these early years can cause immediate and lifelong harms, including developmental delays, poor health, academic challenges, abnormal weight, and reduced social skills.

WIC helps prevent these outcomes by providing nutritious food, nutrition education, and health care referrals, and eligible pregnant or postpartum women, caregivers, and families with children under age five can apply through their local health department using the WIC Eligibility Tool.
