Let's send the teachers off to summer with some beautiful artwork created by YOU!
Calling on the Flock! We want to see your best chalk art on display at your Fond du Lac School District school! The school sidewalks are your canvas and we want to send our great teachers and staff into summer with your art! Birds Of A Feather will have chalk at each building starting at 8 AM this Thursday (6/4/26). Bring yourself, your students and your creativity and let's chalk up another great year!!
Please if you are a STEM family/teacher please come to this meeting. I will be there. Joining a PTO is a great way for the school and community to work together! They host so many fun events and fundraising opportunities for the school. If you ever thought about getting more involved in your kids' school, this is a great opportunity. I will be there, I hope to see you there!

Please come out. I hope to see you there!
Good morning everyone! After a week or so of getting feedback from the community I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the great feedback/conversations. Not only have I listened to the feedback and shared those with the board, but I will be actively working together with the board and community to get some of those ideas in motion. It will take time, but I think we are getting things rolling. In a world filled with negativity and uncertainty, we need to come together and work on the problems we are facing in the district. Always feel free to reach out with any feedback at any time (920)509-9695. Have a great weekend!

Hello everyone. I'm making this post to get some feedback from the community. I'm looking to have conversations ( phone conversations ) regarding the referendum that failed on April 7th. I would really like to talk to people that I don't know and that live in the community and hear their feelings/feedback. So please if you are willing to have a 5 minute conversation ( or longer if you like) please send me a DM. Thank you!
Good morning everyone! Just a reminder that today is Election Day. No matter how you vote get out and let your voice be heard!

If you know of any Rosenow parents please share this with them. If any families want to get involved please come to the next meeting. It would be incredibly sad to see this disappear.
At tonight’s meeting we motioned to spend funds on the following items: Staff Appreciation Week, Science Fair, and Fun Day! We are only able to do things like this through fundraising and having amazing volunteers step up to organize fundraisers and plan/run events.
For several years now, our PTO has been running on a small handful of volunteers. To be transparent, we need MORE help, we NEED you! We appreciate our volunteers to the moon and back and do not want it to ever feel like a daunting task or a stress to help our school community. With Many, the workload of events becomes easy to manage and fun. Tonight we discussed the possibility of the organization dissolving by the 2027 - 2028 school year and what that would look like, this would happen if we are unable to gain new board members and more regular volunteers. This was an extremely hard conversation because we care so much for our school. Rosenow PTO is a well established organization and has been able to do so many amazing things each and every year and we desperately want to continue to be able to do so.
With that said, at our next meeting on April 14th we will share all of the events we do with an estimated amount of time needed to run the event and how much that event generally makes, and in turn what we are able to provide with those funds. If you are in any way interested in helping our staff and students through being active in PTO we urge you to attend this meeting or email us at [email protected] Together we can continue to give back to our staff and students. We are looking to fill ALL 4 of our board positions in addition to a few event chairs for the 2026-2027 school year. Three of our current members will remain active to ensure training of the positions and passing of the torch of our amazing Rosenow PTO.
A few things affected if PTO must shutdown:
Field trip costs will increase- PTO currently pays $5000 yearly towards busing fees for field trips
Rec sports participation will require a fee - PTO currently pays $50 towards fees per sport per team, upwards of $300-$500 a year
Alumni scholarship could not be offered - PTO currently pays $1500 a year to support 2 former students planning to further their education
Grants to our school for specific needs would not be possible - books, supplies, essential equipment/tables… each year PTO spends around $3000 towards supporting needs in our school
Unable to gift the Welcome gift to our Kindergartens - PTO pays around $600 for school shirts for all incoming kindergarten students. These students cherish their Rosenow green.
Movie Night or other after school activities such as Herd or Doc Spider nights would not happen- PTO likes to offer a discount on events like this to make it more affordable for families
End of the year fun day would scale back - All school Bowling is roughly a $1500 cost
and More... Thank you for taking the time to read and we hope you can attend our next meeting in April.
