Hey, howdy, and welcome to your weekly astro weather for August 10-16 2026. Let me just say, before diving in, that I am incredibly humbled and appreciative of the overwhelming response I received from last week’s big leap in opening a “tip jar”. The generosity and kind words of support and encouragement left me pretty speechless. So seriously…from the bottom of my fragile (at the moment) little soul freq heart…thank you! It’s been almost 2 weeks already. Clean up crews and public utilities have been working tirelessly to clear streets and get power back online. Life is trying to return to normal here, but like the landscape of the rest of the world, it’s going to be a new normal. To that end, we start a brand new eclipse season this week and it is poised to be a doozy! Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune and Saturn in Aries are rolling in reverse, and the Moon starts the week at home in Cancer, blazes thru Leo where she intends to dim the Sun’s light before getting analytical in Virgo, then ends week trying to temper some things in Libra. It’s a big week…let’s ride!

Right out of the gate on Monday, the goddess of discernment, love, relationship, resources, and values brings some big opportunities to get creative, see things from a different perspective, and maybe bust some moves toward a more true authenticity and realization around what real power looks and feels like. Or maybe should or could. Change your thinking, change your world/life! Some seemingly fated/predestined events and opportunities could arrive as if on cue…and it is a huge week for the hand of fate to intervene to be sure! In the overnight hours and…

Dark and early Tuesday, by the time most of our feet even hit the floor, Mars-the god of action and war cannonballs into Cancer after 6 weeks of think, think, thinking his way thru Gemini. Oh friends, it is time to start acting from gut-knowing, emotions and feels. So for some, this will be a lovely move toward acting from a place of compassion and empathy, aiming to execute protective and nurturing support for others. At the opposite end of the spectrum, it is also likely to be a time of big feelings driving all kinds of self centered hissy fits and theatrical behavior. I am pretty concerned about Tuesday for peeps in a fragile emotional place because Mars’ time in Cancer can really internalize hard things, leading to actions around self-harm…so let’s keep tabs on each other for the next 6 weeks, more so than usual, hey? Piled on to this, there is a lot of potential for impulsive moves based in obsessive thinking which intensifies as the day wears on. It could be quite critical to find some mental diversions and creative outlets for active minds. Not all impulsive moves are bad…lean into some fun, playful banter. Other impulses notwithstanding, it could be a really good night for imagination, catching a vision, and creating!

And Wednesday, ohhhh boy, just past noon Luna steps in front of Sol at 20° of Leo, creating a total New Moon Solar Eclipse…in the Sun’s home, the sign of the natural born leader. Eclipses tend to catalyze great endings, beginnings, and major turning points and this particular axis has correlated historically with the fall from grace of big peeps as well as the meteoric rise from obscurity of new public figures and leaders. Folks with particularly Sun, Moon, Rising, or maybe chart ruler at or near 20° of especially fixed signs (Ta**us, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) may be the ground zero recipients of opportunities or events to step it up, show what they’re made of. Take on greater responsibility, move into some new identity, exert confidence and courage in self-expression, to be more truly authentic. Watch the news in the coming weeks for the passing of prominent figures. (The actor Matthew Perry was born on the day of an eclipse…and subsequently passed on another…these are things that happen.) Eclipse energy persists strongly until the next set of lunations (new and full moons) as well as extending til the next eclipse season 6 months down the road. But boy, this sure opens the door to some B I G shifts in global leadership and power. Eclipses always come in pairs, so the Moon will get her light dimmed in a couple of weeks. Hang on tight!

And speaking of Luna, around midday on Thursday she dips out for a while, starting a longggg (for her) break, devoid of proper check ins with any of the visible wanderers. The ancients saw this as a poor time for trying to initiate new endeavors or get anything meaningful done, so maybe take a breather thru Saturday. Focus on and clean up messes already in progress.

Later Friday and Saturday there is an opportunity for some to be seen and heard, making bold speeches and/or statements. This is one of those big energies for potential history making speeches. Stand up for yourself, boldly, courageously, confidently! And watch for some to just be loud in their bluster! Maybe use your words to defend the defenseless, just ‘cuz somebody needs to! There is lots of opportunity for “social work” this weekend…mediating, negotiating, peace-making and -keeping…but also for judging. Let’s endeavor to share helpful words and keep our unhelpful opinions to ourselves and get out of this week more positively.

And I only do this when it seems important, but this weekend into Monday looks potentially fraught for those in a precarious emotional state. Do what you need to do for self preservation but also keep a more watchful eye on the fragile people in your life. More on this next time.

Hey all…your Soul Freq is coming at you in a somber mood this week, but neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow, nor EF3 tornados will keep me from delivering the weekly astro weather. My beloved Soul Freqs Bunker absorbed a direct hit from Monday’s EF3 rated tornado and if you compare last week’s very timely personal photo to this week’s, both snapped from the same location in my backyard, you’ll see the devastation to my beautiful Doty Island, my home for the past 17 years. We knew the astrology was last Monday was set to be bananas and for us here on Doty Island, the city of Menasha, and Fox Crossing, it was especially so. I never imagined my island home would feature looters and occupation by the Army National Guard as well as the near total devastation that parts are, but here we are. Disconcerting is an understatement. There have also been tireless efforts on the parts of an army of volunteers so a beautiful community spirit has been present too. Along that line, huge heartfelt thanks to all my Soul Freqs at large who’d reached out over the past week to make sure I and my Bunker were ok. Cell service has been spotty at best and with power still out, internet non-existent…so if I was not timely in, or missed some responses, that would be why. Sorry for the big intro…getting down to astro business, it’s a bit quieter week than we’ve experienced of late. Time to allow some of the literal and metaphoric dust to settle and prepare for our first eclipse of the season burning in next week. Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune and Saturn in Aries are blowing backward and Luna rips thru Aries, Ta**us, Gemini, and Cancer as she preps for her big following week.

On Monday, the morning starts out feisty and resilient before the afternoon dumps in with a big ‘ol reality check. And Chiron joins the ranks of the retrogrades so peeps with personal placements around 00-01° of especially fixed signs (Ta**us, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) may be acutely aware of their “wounds” and owies. New insights, perspectives, and opportunities for healing may be the silver lining. Chiron will be retrograde into early 2027.

Tuesday morning thru midday features a chatty, possibly scattered energy, with early afternoon bringing opportunity for peeps to try to debate and possibly verbally spar! Don’t take the bait…unless you have to. Then keep your head and weaponize your words and intellect as best you can. In the later afternoon cooler heads and calmer vibes should prevail.

Boy, Wednesday looks like a stubborn day! It may be hard to convey your point to others and you may not be in a listening mood either. Evening brings kind of an antsy self-righteousness lol, something like “you will listen to every damn word I have to say” haha…doesn’t mean they will. This is super dug in resilience too though, and I know the peeps in my community could use a healthy dose of that right about now!

Thursday noon actually brings a considerable lift as Venus, the planetary energy of discernment, relationships, and resources leaves her challenging time in attention to detail, perfunctory Virgo and returns for her annual check in with her home sign of harmonious, balance loving, peace-making and -keeping Libra. Cooperation gets an uptick, as does a lean into socializing and networking and the promo of equality and fair play. Of course some will start wagging their tongues with gossip and judginess. Equal opportunity! And oh boy, I really like the back half of the day for a show of strong leadership! Hopefully someone will stand out for stepping up and guiding others with all the right attributes!

Friday is kind of the wild card day for this week as Luna, blowing thru Gemini, connects with all the outer planets. Surprises could be the real flavor of the day! Saturday just kind of happens, without anything remarkable to call its own.

Then, at midday on Sunday, Mercury finally blazes into a new energy-Leo, after too long a time in emotional and “feels” oriented Cancer. Inspiring, bold, confident words that ooze charismatic leadership is REALLY on tap for the coming couple of weeks! Or…maybe ego driven, self-serving communique’s…we shall see! Probably some of both. Time to speak your authentic truth! Sunday is actually a pretty good day for imagination, vision, and creativity too so use it to your full advantage.

Hey ya’all, welcome to your weekly astro weather for July 27-August 02 2026…it’s the dawn of a brand new month and we are almost outta crazy July! But…getting out isn’t going to be easy or comfy. We are going to get like a week’s worth of action (and then some!) in the first 3 days! And it all starts before most even roll outta the sack Monday morning! But first, Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune and now Saturn- in Aries, are backtracking and the Moon opens working hard in Capricorn, breezes thru Aquarius-where she’ll align with the outers on her way to a big stand off with the Sun, puts things into perspective in Pisces, and rocks outta the week in Aries. This week’s pic was actually taken by yours truly…hauntingly beautiful, yet pretty apocalyptic, isn’t it?

As I mentioned last time, Sunday into Monday is just a massive swirl of energy for spotlighting some of the aspects of life that are trying to evolve as the Sun, newly at home in Leo, taps into that critical 4° harmonic jam up that we’ve been talking about for-seemingly-ever now! What will be uncovered and revealed next is anybody’s guess but corruption of power might be an apt place to start. Consideration of a new vision, new ideals? Absolutely. Sudden, unexpected, weird words, news, and info drops? Quite possibly. Monday night feels like some quiet time might be needed and available. And not a bad idea, because…

Tuesday and into Wednesday there is plenty of opportunity for the proverbial s**t to hit the fan and stuff to run right smack off the rails. Consider planning your Wednesday carefully kids, because it is probably the roughest morning energetically that we have seen in quite some time. Critical, harsh words might be the very least of it. Power struggles and plays, confusion and delusion, even straight up shocking words and announcements as the morning wears on. All fueled by a powerful, potent full moon in rebellious-for-a-cause Aquarius. And this full moon is the strongest energy I can think of to spotlight the disparity between what is good for one vs good for all. Glowing up at 6° Aquarius/Leo, those 3 evolutionary planets are within 2° harmonically and Jupiter-make it bigger!, is exactly collocated with the Sun, exactly opposite the Moon. Perspectives on wisdom and leadership, with a healthy side of “crazy”, this feels like coup energy to me. Who is about to make a meteoric rise and who is about to experience a stunning fall? This feels like the start of something monumental. Because the next lunation, the new moon in Leo on August 12th, is a total solar eclipse. Stay tuned. Like Summer, things are heating up.

And the rest of the week is pretty much aftershocks. Of greatest interest, early Friday morning, Luna meets up with her North Node in Aquarius and opposes her South Node in Leo, the first alignments with anything since the nodes changed signs last Sunday. Can you smell the whiff of fate and destiny in the air?

Hey, good morning and welcome to your weekly astro weather for July 20-26 2026 (hey! That’s kinda cool! ! Haha) What might not be super amusing is the energy of this week though. Lol We have two wanderers changing direction, a continued mixing-it-up by these impactful, evolutionary outer planetary energies, AND a couple of boundary hops, one that could be a significant difference maker to end the week. Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, and Mercury in Cancer start the week in retro mode and the Moon opens in Libra, cannonballs into Scorpio, and blitzes thru Sagittarius, and ends the week getting real in Capricorn. I’m throwing out some big words, big concepts this week ‘cuz that’s where we at these days! Let’s dive right in!

So this week really serves as a continuation of events that were already underway last, and that is Jupiter-pretty newly operating in Leo, approaching fast that cluster of evolutionary forces jammed up around the same harmonic territory, interacting with each other. Monday brings 2 exact alignments and Tuesday a big 3rd and Jupiter’s job is to open minds, expand philosophical and spiritual horizons, maintaining a more strategic, big picture orientation. I am actually pretty encouraged and happy to see this happening because it might cause some peeps to wake the f**k up already! To see the state of things as they truly are and maybe endeavor to do some right things for right reasons, not just toe party lines and maintain the status quo with every last ounce of energy. Monday and Tuesday carry the kind of energies that extinction events are made of and, as of Tuesday morning, Luna is decidedly more in “rip the band-aid off” mode and is likely to be looking to right some wrongs, even if some peeps aren’t particularly happy about it. There is big energy for identifying what is no longer working, this is true, but there is equal opportunity to re-imagine, re-vision, re-structure, re-organize what could be. A necessity in our current state, I think.

Wednesday afternoon, happy days, the Sun returns home to Leo. Time to step up and take charge. To exude strength, courage, confidence, boldness…with a side of wisdom and resilience. The down side would be Ego’s gone wild! Within the week (next 7 days, not “calendar”) Sol will shine a big ‘ol spotlight on those rascally outer planets, acting as something of a “timer”, so *spoiler alert* next Monday is poised to be a big ‘ol day!

Thursday morning might be hard on the feels, with some, especially those with natal chart stuff at 00° of particularly Fixed signs (Ta**us, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) really taking things personally and becoming quickly aware of owies they’ve tried to stuff and ignore. Right in time for dinner, but realistically a thing all day, Mercury slows, stops, and turns around. Another Mercury Rx in the books. This happens at 16° Cancer, the sign energy most correlated with feelings and moods, so I guess I’d have to call this “big feelings” Thursday! This will be especially true for folks with personal placements at either of the aforementioned degrees (0 or 16-ish), now adding Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) to the watch zone! In general, extra care when moving and communicating is warranted as things could get confused. Heads aren’t likely to be entirely level and fallout or consequences could be more harsh than usual.

Friday mellows things out a bit, and while we probably shouldn’t count on a completely easy day owing to everything else that is hot in the cosmos, there is opportunity to take a beat and rationally consider all the drudged up emotion and feels swirling about. This doesn’t mean the problems go away, more that we may see things for what they are and start thinking about amicable parting of ways with some people, places, interests, and activities and this energy prevails over the whole of next week. This feels like the precursory deep sigh.

Friday night and into Saturday brings another “perfection” of the big picture energy system I referenced last week. I’m not going into the weeds with this, just pointing out that it is occurring. Mid-morning brings tension and antsies-in-the-pantsies but much of that will play out internally, in the proverbial hearts and minds of “man” and would likely serve to help the kinds of things I mentioned way up at the beginning…opportunity to see the big picture and maybe where one (or collectively we) have strayed from our ideology, to start the process of what we need to do to get back on course. Then Luna dips out to give us an opportunity to think about what we’ve done, where we’re at, where we need to go.

And…oh boy…Sunday is a big day! Possibly catalyzing stuff earlier in the week or in coming days, Saturns grinds to a halt at 14° Aries and starts his annual Rx cycle. And now I’m gonna give a shout out to the 14 to 16° range of darn near any sign…because we have a cluster of 4 planets, including a stationary Saturn, hanging our there. Saturn will scream back to 7° Aries before resuming forward progress on December 10th. And…but wait…there is more! And it is significant! A mere several hours later, the lunar nodes back out of the Pisces/Virgo axis they’ve been traveling since January 2025 and into Aquarius/Leo. They will be bringing the fate and eclipses to the most statistically popular rising sign (Leo) until March 2028. So, for a time, the Sun and and south node will be cohabitating, with the north in opposition in Aquarius and it is worth noting that both POTUS and VPOTUS have late Leo risings in their natal energy systems. And?! The first round of eclipses is coming soon, so stay tuned! There may be some news worthy developments in the making. I will probably post about the nodes rocking Aquarius/Leo separately so watch for that if interested, but for now I will briefly say that this axis shines a light on the duality between what is good for “one” vs what is best for the “collective”…and release energy is coming to “the one” with gains coming to “the collective”.

Hey all, happy Sunday and welcome to your weekly astro weather for July 13-19 2026! Halfway thru crazy July and this is the week when the “outers” really start to play! Pluto in Aquarius, Mercury in Cancer, and Neptune in Aries are retrograde and the Moon starts the week at home in Cancer, blazes thru Leo, gets critical in Virgo and finishes the week networking in Libra. She is flying currently! With that outta the way, let’s ride!

Carrying over from last week, we start out on Monday with opportunity for for sudden, unanticipated shifts in thinking, values, relationships, and resources. It may be time to get weird, to think and see things in different terms, whether by choice or possibly by force. Dinnertime thru…

Tuesday feels kind of emotional, moody, maybe tiresome and heavy because overnight Luna runs up to Sol at 22° of Cancer for the New Moon in the sign of the Crab for 2026. And this is basically collocated with Rx Mercury. Insecurities and previously buried family s**t may be readily available for trying to heal but there is also opportunity to revisit lovely nostalgic memories. Take a minute to really think about what brings you emotional and physical comfort and set some intentions to do more of that! Nurture, provide for, and protect the ones you love…trust your instincts and spidey sense to tell you who and how.

So here’s the deal…we are going to be talking about things between now, the rest of the year, and probably beyond that have been producing events already and will just continue to do so. I am reporting the days when they connect most precisely! Having said that, Wednesday thru Friday brings the first little cluster of exact alignments that bring about the kind of climate that I wrote about in the “As above, so below” post a couple of weeks back. Generational, global, collective events that catalyze turning points in and for the greater “civilization” and humanity. So I’m not even going to try to describe them again in these weekly posts. If you’re only interested in the energetic vibes, tune out the next line or two lol. For students and followers of astrology, I’m referring to Uranus (sudden disruptions to “normal”, unanticipated changes in direction, progression, personal freedoms) and Neptune (dissolution, confusion, idealism, inspiration, creativity) making their first meaningful connection in a while, since 1993 actually and Uranus aligning with Pluto (obsession, power, exposure of hidden/secret s**t, transformation). The latter is following up on alignments that happened in the mid 1960’s and experienced a tense check in between 2012-2015. These alignments brought radical rebellion in politics and other established “institutions” as well as the balance of power, and sudden shifts in technology and other communication mechanisms. So I would certainly be expecting a continuation of these kinds of trends…in earnest. Again, please review my previous post for more detail. Whole books could be written about the merging of these energies. And do keep in mind that if Uranus is mixing with both Neptune and Pluto, a mixing of Neptune and Pluto is happening too! All four are banging around at 04° of their respective signs right now! We’ll briefly hit on that next week. And yet another wanderer is about to enter the fray! Such fun times!

The weekend brings a bit of added tension, just in case we haven’t felt that yet!, as ants in the pants energy connects to action. This week quite seriously has some energetic potential for more rebellion, aggression, erratic and volatile events and activities. Using words and actions. This is serious business, on the global stage as well as in the lives of individuals-especially for peeps with sensitive natal chart placements in the 3 to 5° range of pretty much any sign! And things are subject now to getting seriously weird! Haha I’m saying this now because things may start manifesting this weekend based on other alignments coming Monday…oh, and Tuesday…all next week really! So to that end,

The 4th of July is in the past, Summer is well underway…come get your vibes on with Brad and I…

Hey! If you’re reading this, woo hoo! You must’ve partied responsibly and survived the 4th of July! Don’t get too excited just yet though, there’s still a lot of July yet to come! News has been bringing to bear the astrology of last week, sadly in many cases, eye popping in others. (While not a fan, there was no escaping news of the “wedding of the century”, lol. I don’t think Taylor Swift used an astrologer to help elect her wedding date and time [just saying…] but it sure doesn’t get much more “Venus in Leo” than that! “Look at me!”) So welcome to the weekly astro weather for July 06-12 2026. Mercury continues backtracking thru Cancer as does Pluto in Aquarius all week, and they will pick up a third (and significant!) retro buddy this week! The Moon starts off blazing thru Aries, slows things down considerably in Ta**us, then scatters her way thru Gemini, ending the week just heading home to Cancer. The party in the 01-05° range is just getting started and there is a disturbance in the mid degree range this week also, so let’s get into it!

Sunday into Monday we start out with big potential for tests to reality and our feelings regarding personal responsibility toward family and loved ones. It is likely to feel kind of onerous and peeps with personal natal placements at 13-15° of especially cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) are likely to feel this most personally. Big feelings with emotions running a gamut are likely this day. Try to NOT let pride get in the way, mind your words, and run things thru a “makes sense” test before busting any bold, impulsive moves and you should be ok! (I know, often easier said than done in the moment!)

All week, but perfecting on Tuesday, Neptune stops and stations retrograde at 04° Aries. As the next to slowest planetary body, this is Neptune’s opportunity to make a statement. Neptune relates, among other things, to weather, health, and spiritual activities and trends so any of these things could show up in the headlines. Our current extreme weather patterns likely relate to this. Also, you could think of this as kind of a Mercury Rx on steroids! Things could be very nebulous, unclear, confusing. Freak storms could arrive as if on cue. Some might be pulled backward toward addictive and other “escapist” type behaviors. And partnered with a simultaneous Mercury Rx some hidden things could certainly be revealed (think scandals and whistleblowing!) Neptune will drift back to 01° Aries before stationing direct again on December 12th.

I’ll be watching for a vibe shift between Wednesday and Thursday, as Luna will be plowing thru Venus’ home sign of Ta**us when Venus leaves Leo and downgrades into Virgo. (To be clear, this is NOT a slam against my Virgo’s out there! It just happens to be Venus’ least traditionally functional sign!) This is why I hope some peeps kept some receipts for purchases made while Venus was in luxury conscious Leo because in Virgo she is far more practical! And the thing is…Venus doesn’t really wanna be practical. She appreciates beautiful things but now, until August 6th, she has to discern for resourcefulness and making rational, logical, analytical sense. I’ll bet the Amazon return lines will be busy! And some of this is likely to signal an unexpected wake up call to some! Surprises are likely in store and the possibility of some new, um, improprieties to be revealed in coming weeks. And really, Thursday kinda blends into…

Friday as Venus starts running that early degree gauntlet, connecting with all the things jammed up between 00-04°. Venus’ time there won’t be as dramatic Mars’, she is kinder and gentler than that, but it is quite likely to serve as some follow up to events of the past week or so. Venus discerns and it is time to look at some choices we’ve made and courses of action we’ve taken and start dealing with the consequences or adjusting course. It is another big week for making some seemingly fated decisions and resolutions. Time to figure out how to functionally release some of the maladaptive beliefs and stuff we’ve been doing…just because it’s the way we’ve always done it! It is the path beyond wounds being front and center.

Between Friday and Saturday Luna checks in with la-dee-da-dee-everybody, so shaking and stirring things up, then dips out for a full 24 hours between early Saturday and Sunday evenings. Time to take a mini breather. Kind of on top of that, live all Sunday, running in the background and perfecting by late evening, Rx Mercury backs into the Sun in Cancer…the midpoint of this Rx! Halfway there. Let’s see what mood driven words, for good or otherwise, tumble out of people’s mouths. To be certain, it IS a day for rare clear thinking…just maybe best to save resultant actions for next week. New Moon is a’comin’! Hey, hi! A couple of weeks ago I gave a talk at a wellness retreat and it seemed that the topic was worthy of a wider share, so that’s what I’m attempting here. My talk was titled something along the lines of “As above, so below…how the planetary movements are contributing to current world events”. Haha, I can’t remember the exact title, but you get the gist! If you follow my work, you know what’s been happening! Everything is/has been changing! All these planets, that move at dramatically different rates of speed, spending significantly different lengths of time focused in the matters of one sign, have shifted in recent years. When we talk specifically about the “outer planets”, namely Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, we are talking about evolutionary forces at work…they change s**t! They catalyze progression and force evolution. But human nature most often seems to be centered around digging in, trying to maintain the status quo and often REALLY doubling down on old, dying, maladaptive behaviors before allowing them to extinguish and release or shift…pretty much needing to burn s**t to the ground before we allow “new”.

And that is what has been happening, really starting back in the Spring of 2023 when Pluto, the great transformer, departed Capricorn after being there since early 2008, making a first dip into Aquarius in about 250 years. (That’s how long it takes Pluto to circumnavigate the zodiac/sky!) So first, we have to understand that two signs that adjoin one another pretty literally have NOTHING in common. They don’t share an element or a quality and even the aspect between them is so subtle it would be barely worth considering. Capricorn is very much a materially focused, survival of the fittest, every man for himself kind of energy. It is socially conscious in that peeps care what others think of them and their awesome achievements and big bottom lines. It is traditional, conventional, hard working, responsible…relating to things like financial and other institutions. Follow the rules. So beginning in March of 2023, Pluto executed the first of five boundary crossings into Aquarius, three moving forward with two retrogrades in between. Pluto doesn’t do anything fast but he absolutely does things completely, like all the way. Two consecutive signs, again having nothing in common, generally have the subsequent sign trying to swing the pendulum to make up for any “shortcomings” to the previous and, as I just described Capricorn, Aquarius is more collectively oriented, strength in numbers, power of the people, “together we stand, divided we fall” and all. It is more unconventional, non-traditional, outside the box, and individualistic in that it doesn’t care so much what others think so long as one is being “true” and authentic and doing their own thing. Rules were made to be broken, especially for just causes. Aquarius is progressive by nature and is correlated with advances in science and technology. It is an energy of being rebellious, but it’s a “rebel WITH a cause” situation. In these past few years we have experienced more gatherings of the masses in rebellion (“No Kings” rally’s, for example), a new space race, advances in AI and VR, exploration of the de-centralization of previous systems (think “crypto-currencies, for one), and a movement toward more unique self-expression-sometimes the “wyrd-er”, the better! Capricorn loves boundaries, Aquarius decidedly does not.

Pluto’s final crossing of the Capricorn/Aquarius boundary came in November 2024 which started a very concentrated period of about seven months during which EVERYTHING most astrologers track: Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Lunar Nodes, and Jupiter all changed signs! (I’d add quickly that Mars, Venus, Mercury, Sun and Moon all change signs at regular intervals of days to months so although they changed signs multiple times in that seven months, it was not as big a deal.) Neptune, Uranus, and Saturn all gave “trailers” of what their times in their new signs might look like, retrograded back to where they had been to wrap things up, then this year returned to their new signs where they will be bringing the change for the foreseeable future. So let’s take a quick peek at them!

Currently, Neptune and Saturn are rocking Aries after 14 years in Pisces for Neptune, about 3.5 for Saturn. In February 2026, they collided and conjuncted (collocated) at 00° Aries, a resetting of their 36/37 year cycle, at the reset point of the zodiac! Sweeping and deep new beginnings! When Saturn and Neptune get together, they typically deliver something new to humanity that we did not have before and once we have it, there are no going backsies. We further typically forget what life was like before we had it. And clearly what they brought us this time was AI and virtual reality. Together, Neptune and Saturn create a climate for manifesting into material reality something from the realm of imagination, inspiration, vision, and dreams. (Their last collocation brought us the Internet and widespread access to home and personal computers. For reference, they both have basically opposing jobs! Saturn creates structure and organization, Neptune dissolves it in order to clear space for creating “new”. Saturn is concrete and real! Neptune blurs lines. Feel familiar? Haha Lines are being blurred and dissolved!) Neptune will be in Aries until 2039 and to me, represents the energy of the “spiritual warrior”. This time is often associated with great heroes and great villains, as well as leaders driven by vision, imagination, idealism, conviction, but also sometimes delusion. It also correlates with times of “re-constructive efforts”, a rise in spiritual + occult interests, and technological advances-often driven by “necessity” and times of war. (Fun fact, the last time Neptune ingressed Aries-about 150 years ago, correlated with the day the first shots of the American Civil War were fired, a war which brought new advances in weaponry and medicine.) Think conflict that catalyzes change. They are often times of re-invention and re-imagination and the rise of new identities-for cultures, nations, societies, and individuals. And this go’round starts out paired up with Saturn.

Saturn last spent time in Aries between April 1996 and March 1999, revisiting about every 30-ish years. His time in the sign of action, Saturn’s most challenged, is also often correlated with military actions, leadership, and authority. His time in Aries typically represents escalation of armed conflicts, generational rebellion/protests/civil unrest but also times of endurance, resilience, and perseverance…rising above and “survival”. Combining Saturn and Neptune, as we will until April 2028, can generate a time of confusion around what it real versus not real. Saturn also shares all the keywords dropped previously regarding Capricorn so he has everything to do with “reality” and regulation, as well as the creation of structures and organizations and boundaries…so I would expect that the next couple of years might see the coming of some regulation around AI because it is pretty hard to tell what is real, what isn’t in many sectors these days. And some global boundaries are certainly up for modification, for good or not.

Uranus, the great disruptor, bringer of progression, advocate of personal freedom, dropped into Gemini most recently and will be there for the next seven years. Myself, as well as just about all other astrologers have been talking about this for years already because historically, every time Uranus has gone into Gemini, which occurs about every 84 years, the United States has gone to war. Revolutionary War, check. American Civil War, check. WWII, check! And today, I mean, take your pick! Embers are glowing on numerous fronts. But in less inflammatory ways, Uranus’ time in Gemini also correlates with the rapid gathering and dissemination of information, movement/transportation, learning/education…which has lead to innovations like the telegraph, radios, electricity (and the light bulb!), and more recently a “decentralized” media, immersive wireless communication systems, AI + VR. Think “move faster”! But both Gemini and Uranus can be fairly unstable/destabilizing…anything but “stuck”, so putting them together means change can come very suddenly, unexpectedly, into previously unforeseen, unanticipated directions. Not always bad, not always good, but usually in the name or advancement/progression and innovation. Often “wyrd”!

Jupiter-growth and expansion oriented as well as operating from a higher minded place, is set to change signs again in the next week (as of this writing), into Leo after having spent the last year in Cancer. The sign of the Crab, relating to emotions and feelings, providing for, protecting, nurturing is Jupiter’s strongest sign…his place of exaltation. His presence there over the past 12+ months has provided some protection from hard things being as hard as they could be (even if it maybe hasn’t felt that way!)…but when he leaves for the sign of the Lion on June 30th, that protection goes away. So some chaos and hardship that has actually been mitigated won’t be anymore. Jupiter’s time in Leo often correlates with times of national pride as well as celebration of individual achievement, confident, charismatic leadership + hero worship, creativity, and maybe some drama. (Combine the latter two and we often get blockbuster cinematic endeavors!) It can be deeply true and authentic but can also range toward ego-centrism. (Jupiter’s last blaze thru Leo is credited with the creation of “influencer culture”! Like, “look at and listen to me”!) This go’round is going to run simultaneously with the Lunar Nodes backing thru the Leo/Aquarius axis, bring eclipses which many astrologers forecast to bring about a rise in new leaders as well as the fall of some old. Time will tell. Jupiter spends a smidge over one year in a sign-hitting each every 12 years, and will depart for Virgo in July 2027.

In current events, this finds Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the Lunar Nodes in the tight little harmonic range of 00-04°. Jupiter and the nodes will move along soon but…Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and any other wanderer drifting in and out of that range over the next year + into direct harmonic cahoots-influencing and impacting each other, blending these various evolutionary energies, and these things just don’t happen very often. I will be highlighting all of these alignments as they happen…beginning this month! (in July 26) but we will be getting “check ins” that influence the fabric of our societies, governments, nations, the whole of the global collective! Think about the 1960’s…upheaval, disruptions, challenges to power and authority, advances in science and technology, industry…cultural evolution and spiritual awakenings. In addition to these things popping off at the global/collective level, it also means that individuals with personal natal chart placements between the end of any sign (28-29°) and/or the beginning of new ones (00-05°)- of pretty much any sign, have been absolutely subject to being battered about and massive change over these past couple of years… trust me when I say I have heard some stories!, unlike any of time in the past couple of hundred years. “As above, so below”, my friends!
