For this week’s mindful Monday, I wanted to touch base on summer hair care now that our beautiful summer has arrived!

Most of us love spending time at the beach or hanging out at a friend’s pool, but it’s still important to be mindful of our hair during all the summer fun. Chlorine, sun exposure, minerals, and algae can all leave hair feeling dry, tangled, or faded.

One easy tip to help protect your hair this summer is to wet it with clean water before swimming. Our hair acts like a sponge, so if it’s already saturated with clean water, it will absorb less chlorine or lake water. Little habits like this can make a huge difference in keeping your hair healthy all summer long!
