An Eagle Project is a community service project that a Life Scout must organize and complete to reach the Eagle Scout Rank. For most scouts, the Eagle Project is what prevents them from reaching the Eagle Scout Rank, the highest honor in Boy Scouts. The purpose of an Eagle Project is for a scout to demonstrate the leadership skills they have learned.

To complete an Eagle Project one must raise the funds needed to see the project through, be that for materials, tools, or food. Fundraising can be done in many ways, I created a GoFundMe to reach out to the parents of the students I'm doing this Eagle Project for. Even if you aren't a parent and are willing to help with my Eagle Project, please feel free to donate for my Eagle Project.

My Eagle Project is at my old school, Folsom Middle School. I'm improving on the existing Special Ed Garden, a project the school has desired to complete for a long time. The current garden has 2 in-ground planters and 1 raised planter. My project will go about building 2 more in-ground planters as well as another raised planter. We will also build 2 wooden benches for students to sit while they are working in the garden.
