What an incredible day for our community! 🇺🇸🏍️

The Foley Lions Club was proud to be the first stop for the Clearwater Legion Homeless Veterans Motorcycle Run, welcoming 206 motorcycles and more than 250 riders and supporters to the Foley American Legion.

Our volunteers fired up the grill, serving hamburgers and hot dogs to help fuel everyone for the miles ahead before sending the riders safely on their journey.

A huge thank you to everyone who rode, volunteered, donated, and supported this event. Seeing our Legion packed with people coming together to honor and support our veterans was truly inspiring.

206 bikes. Over 250 people. One amazing cause.

We are grateful to have been a part of such an incredible event and look forward to doing it again. Safe travels to all the riders, and thank you for supporting those who have served our country. ❤️🤍💙

Last night marked a special milestone for the Foley Lions Club as we proudly inducted our new officers for the coming year. For the first time in our club’s history, we are led by an all-women Board of Directors—a testament to the dedication, leadership, and service of these incredible women.

Congratulations to President Lori Landowski, Vice President Jessica Schmitz, Secretary Ashley Kapus, Treasurer Susie Bradley, and Board Members-at-Large Joyce Belanger and Tara Feifarek. We know your passion for serving our community will continue the proud tradition of Lionism while inspiring future generations of leaders.

We are compelled to inquire why this issue continues to occur at Lions 🦁 Park. What reasoning makes any of this acceptable? Why do individuals feel inclined to vandalize others' property for their own gratification? This behavior is entirely unacceptable, and our club will look into installing security cameras to identify those responsible. If anyone has information about the perpetrators, please notify a Lions member, City works employee, or the Foley Police Department at the earliest opportunity.
