The company’s mission is to promote Chinese and Chinese-American culture by bringing Peking Opera, one of China’s national treasures, as well as various Chinese traditional art programs to a world audience and to foster a deeper cultural understanding between the East and th
e West. Our Artistic Director William (Chunnuan) Liu he has been performing Peking Opera of all his life, He was trained for the performance art of Peking Opera from very young and devoted himself to this amazing field of art in both China and the United States. After graduation from Shenyang Institute of Arts, He started professional performance of Peking Opera with Shenyang Peking Opera Theatre since 1996. He has been working for many of performing company and arts organization in United States. From 2000 to 2010 he presents over 1000 performances, workshops, master classes and lecture/demonstrations for American audiences of all ages. He has toured to theaters, schools and cultural centers in Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Washington D. He has a lot of the experience and new innovation for the school show. After 10 years performance in American he made special performing program for American audiences to understand the Peking Opera one of the most famous form of Chinese Art. It is more than two hundred years old and features very exotic music, brightly colored costumes, and very interesting and bright make-up. Our program is very colorful and interesting never been present by any other performing company. We have three school performing programs can be tailor-made to fit your special needs. Our actors are all professionally trained and award outstanding actors. Also in the show we have professional precision auspices to explain the program to help the audiences more understand the performance.
