We are thrilled to invite you to our TMEA Preview Concert next Sunday, February 1 at 7pm!

We will be singing in the Murchison Performing Arts Center (the armadillo-looking building) at the University of North Texas with our amazing FMHS Con Fuoco treble choir, also invited to TMEA! You won't want to miss this send off!

We may have had a little fun with some props today! Our boys brought in something to illustrate their other hobbies and interests (outside of making amazing music with us, of course!)

She is truly one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet and teaches at the highest level. A remarkable musician, dedicated pedagogue, and treasured friend, Mrs. McHenry inspires excellence and heart in everything she does with her patience, kindness, and gentleness.

We are so proud to celebrate Mrs. Emily Stanton Brackney, our truly outstanding feeder elementary music teacher (a magician, honestly!). She has been named Teacher of the Year at Forest Vista, and no one deserves it more! Mrs. Brackney is an incredible gift to all 700+ FVE students and to us at Forestwood.

Thanks to her passion, dedication, and exceptional teaching, FVE students arrive at Forestwood deeply prepared for whichever performing art they pursue. She cultivates a genuine love of music, builds essential skills, and lays the strong foundation students need at such a crucial stage in their development. We see the impact of her hard work every single day, and so much of our success lies rooted in her classroom.
