Every year 3rd graders hold a Marketplace to learn about economics. They money they make they donate each year. This year they donated it to our Clinic for Nurse Hopper to use. She met with them today to thank them.

I am so touched and honored that you thought of helping our clinic with the proceeds from your Marketplace.
You did a wonderful job. Your creativity, hard work, & excitement making such fun things truly made your Marketplace special.
A few I remember were,
The sparkly sunglasses, Dallas Cowboy Bookmarkers, Pokémon beads, Fruit Pencil Toppers, Cute Colorful plants, and Fruity Flavored fan items.
Because of your donation to the clinic, we can purchase grade level, color-coded, well stocked emergency bags for each grade that will be kept in the classroom.
We will also have a well-stocked clinic for next year and because I do not have to ask the PTA for clinical supplies, I am able to ask them for a new Staff Emergency Training kit that includes feedback technology.
--Your kindness, generosity and hard work are making a real difference for everyone at Donald!

We loved celebrating our 5th graders last night at their Promotion Ceremony. They have grown so much this year and we are so proud to send them off to middle school. Thank you teachers and families for supporting them this year and all the years prior!

This morning was wonderful seeing our Seniors come back and walk the halls. I started at Donald when this class started Kindergarten and I just love them so.
This is Ms. Hoffman btw!!

Seniors please bring your cap and gown and we will see you Tuesday morning!!!!

We can NOT wait to celebrate these seniors!!!!

The BOGO book fair starts Monday. It is the favorite because we are able to get more books in the hands of more kids for the summer. Who can pass up a Buy One and Get One Free deal!!! Donald PTA make zero profit from the fair, they simply do it for the kids. Just like all of the book fair you can set up an e-wallet and order online and have it shipped directly to you.
