Wilson Cross Country is excited to host the 12th Annual Warrior Invitational this Saturday!

📅 Saturday, September 5, 2026
📍 Wilson High School Cross Country Course
⏰ Course opens & packet pickup at 7:00 AM
🏁 Racing begins at 8:30 AM
🎟️ Spectator Admission: $5

Come spend the morning cheering on some incredible runners! With a course that loops through the Warrior Reservation and finishes inside the stadium, spectators will have several opportunities to see and encourage their athletes throughout the race.

🌭 Vendors, food trucks & concessions will be available!
⏱️ XPRESS Timing will provide LIVE RESULTS throughout the meet.
💻 Teams can register online through Alabama MileSplit.

Bring your family, grab a seat, and help us pack the Warrior Reservation as our runners hit the course!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💙 WARRIORS TAKE ON THE PEPSI XC CHALLENGE! 💙🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Wilson Cross Country hit the course today at the 16th Annual Pepsi XC Challenge in Moulton, and our Warriors represented the Tribe well!

🌟 VARSITY HIGHLIGHTS
🏅 Alexis Bennington — 4th Place | 22:50.2
🏃 Luca Brekke — 9th | 18:25.4
🏃 Carsen Borden — 19th | 19:17.7

The Varsity Boys ran their way to a 10th-place team finish in the Small School division!

Our younger Warriors also took on the 2-mile course, gaining valuable race experience and continuing to build for the season ahead. 💪

A special congratulations to Alexis Bennington and Luca Brekke on bringing home some hardware! 🏅👏

Every race is another opportunity to get stronger, tougher, and better. We are proud of this crew for putting in the miles and representing WILSON!
