Happy Thinking Thursday! Our students are having a blast today as they dive into the world of words and numbers. We’re practicing forming our first sentences, mastering counting and number recognition, and becoming experts at naming our letters! Keep up the amazing work scholars !

A FEW UPDATES FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR
We are so excited to see everyone on Wednesday, July 29!

FIRST DAY DROP-OFF
We invite parents and guardians to walk their students into the building on the first day only.
Parents must leave the building by 7:45 AM so that we may begin our school day.

MORNING ROUTINE
Beginning Thursday, July 30, parents will not be able to walk students in the building.
You must follow our regular drop-off procedures for all students.

SAFETY FIRST
To enhance campus security, Florence One School District is introducing a new Visitor Management System. Please remember to bring a government-issued photo ID whenever you visit the school, you need it to check in. We will begin this procedure after 7:45am on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Thank you for your patience and support as we implement these safety measures. We can’t wait to see you soon for a wonderful year!

What an amazing Back to School Open House! A huge thank you to all the families who joined us tonight! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and welcome new ones into our school community.

The Reset: Launching Our Best Year Yet! 🐅

Ms. Bennett is bringing high energy to the classroom, focusing on strategies that build strong readers with stellar character.

Ms. Edwards has spent the summer designing engaging lessons and interactive science notebooks that will make learning come alive!

Ms. Richardson is taking a proactive approach—gathering wisdom from fellow staff and mastering the golden rule: label everything!

Ms. Walz is crafting a bright, clean learning space designed to spark joy, focus, and critical thinking.

Ms. Linton is getting organized to keep instruction seamless and ensure every student reaches new heights this year.

Ms. Bacchus is putting the finishing touches on a welcoming, kid-friendly environment where students feel right at home.

North Vista Elementary kicked off the 2026-2027 school year today by welcoming back our faculty and staff with a delicious breakfast and teambuilding activities! We are thrilled for the year ahead and look forward to a wonderful journey of inspiration, growth, and Tiger Cub success!
