Yet another AMAZING year for the Ryle GMD Track and Field day! We love watching this amazing event grow and grow. Hosting close to 900 people, 400 of which were students with special needs. We couldn’t have done today without the amazing help from our sponsors:

It’s that time of year again — we are preparing for our annual Ryle GMD Track & Field Day, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Last year’s event was truly incredible. We welcomed over 250 students with special needs, along with peer tutors, teachers, and paraprofessionals — bringing nearly 800 participants together for a day filled with energy, achievement, inclusion, and unforgettable smiles. It was a powerful reminder of what community support can accomplish.

This year, we’re expecting even greater participation and are working hard to make the event bigger and better than ever.

To make this special day possible, we are reaching out to our amazing community for support. Donations help cover event materials, awards, refreshments, equipment, and everything needed to create a first-class experience for our athletes. Every contribution — big or small — directly impacts the students and helps make this day one they will never forget.

What a great yesterday was for our annual schoolwide dodgeball tournament fundraiser for our GMD track and field day! Everything ran extremely smooth! Thank you to everyone who helped, teachers that showed up with their classes, students that came and bought concessions, participants that donated to play, and our wonderful PE department for supporting this event and helping run it! Another great GMD Track and Field Day in the books!! This year was the 10th Anniversary of this event! This year was our biggest yet, with 25 Schools and close to 800 people in attendance!! What an amazing gift it is to host a day for these wonderful people to come together and show off their abilities that they have been working on all year, socialize with friends they don't get to see often, and create new relationships with peers and teachers. What an awesome day to be a Raider!! Today was our annual Track and Field Fundraising Dodgeball Tournament!! 18 teams played, 1 team was victorious, a whole population benefited!! Couldn’t have been more proud of our Ryle Family for coming out to support this program and this great event! This school is all about inclusion, and we couldn’t be happier!! ATTENTION PARENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMEBERS!!! Believe it or not, it is time to start the process of the 10th Annual Ryle Track and Field Day! This event will once again be hosted on the Ryle High School Football Field on Friday, April 18th. In order for this day to see the same success we have had in the past, we will once again be looking for corporate sponsors to help fund this amazing day for these amazing students of our district. 100% of all proceeds go directly back into the event. Freezin for a reason!! Ryle GMD/Club U took to the Plunge today to raise money for both Special Olympics Kentucky, and our program at Ryle! It was VERY cold, but VERY worth it! Another year in the books for the best group RHS has to offer! Ryle Raiders

What an awesome day for the program! Started off in 2nd period with some fun parachute action!! Kids worked up a good sweat, which led us to our inaugural Silent Disco! With about 90 people in attendance, we had a great time dancing and enjoying some fun free time on a cold Friday afternoon!

Good Morning Ryle Raiders community! As we approach our winter months, our PE department will begin our volleyball units in class. If you are not familiar with our equipment, it is quite old and worn. I am reaching out today to see if anyone may have connections to a few pole and net set ups. We are totally fine with used equipment! Please take a look at these pictures, and let me know if you may know somewhere looking to donate used set ups. Please share! Thanks everyone!
