It’s almost that time of year again… 🍄🍄‍🟫 Shroom drop is June 13th! This is a worldwide event started by where artists hide mushroom themed art in their local communities. Finders keepers! I hope to find some time in the next couple weeks to crank out some more of these- seems like there are never enough to go around! I will be hiding mine in Florence, OR. If you find one, you get to keep it!

Some work in progress… Did you know the whole reason I started pottery in the first place was because of the ocarina? I love playing this instrument, and back in 2017ish I wanted to learn how to make them, so I did! I got a bag of clay, some diy tools, scrounged for resources on the internet, and I learned. I eventually tumbled down the rabbit hole of all things pottery (there is SO much, and endless possibilities!) but I haven’t forgotten why I started or what sparked my love of working with clay. I haven’t really made any ocarinas in quite some time (years), but maybe it’s time to renew that passion? We’ll see 😊

I’m still here! 🤩👋 I am getting back into things after an extended break. I have been focused on my kids and family, our dental practice business, traveling, church responsibilities, life changes... in other words life is busy and pottery has been on the back burner. With the closing of The River Gallery where I sold my items, I'm still taking some time to figure out where to go from here. I still have some items at Pacific Frameworks, but am considering additional options to sell locally.

With the money I made from The River Gallery, I ordered some new equipment- a huge Bailey slab roller!! 🤩 After months of waiting it finally arrived last week! I had been starting to feel limited and demotivated by the size of my small table top roller, but with this new addition I have a renewed excitement to jump back in and start creating! Life is still busy with other things, but keep watching as I get my pottery journey rolling again and thanks for sticking with me 💕
