What a great first school-wide assembly for this new school year! 🎉

We celebrated 8 student leaders, 1 amazing volunteer, and 2 staff members who were recognized for modeling the Fruit of the Spirit — LOVE! 💛

We also announced some exciting Read-a-Thon news: since Monday, our students have clocked over 6,000 hours read and raised more than $5,000! 📚

And one of the biggest announcements of the day — Student Council is officially launching at DRCA! 🙌

We are so blessed by all the exciting things Year 3 is bringing!

Last year, we asked our students to dream a little — "What do you want to see at DRCA this year?"
And loud and clear, this answer kept coming up again and again: Drama Club! 🙌

So we listened... and we're SO excited to share that Drama Club officially kicked off with a fantastic first meeting! 🎬✨

From icebreakers to a sneak peek at what's ahead, our students showed up with big energy and even bigger imaginations. We can't wait to see where this year takes them — on stage and off!

Stay tuned as we continue building out this club throughout the year. This is just the opening act! 🎉
