Our Admissions team is on the road across South Carolina! ❤️💙

From college fairs and high school visits to College Application Day events, our counselors are meeting students across the state and helping them navigate the college application process.

If your high school is hosting a college fair or application event, take advantage of it! Admissions representatives are there to answer your questions and help you with your college applications.

And don’t forget…our Fall application is OPEN and FREE for the Fall semester! No essay required and test optional. 🙌

School Counselor Conference for the P*e Dee and Grand Strand was held at Francis Marion University today, bringing school counselors and higher education professionals together for updates on college access, financial aid, and student resources, along with a college fair and panel discussion. 🎓

A special shoutout to everyone who helped make the day a success and to the FMU Performing Arts Center for once again providing a great space to host!

Celebrating our FMU Orientation Leaders!! Yesterday, we celebrated our OLs for all their hard work welcoming new Patriots, leading tours, answering questions, and helping students feel at HOME all summer! 🦊

🏆 OL Superlatives:
Rayce — Best Tour Guide Energy
Nesthor — Most Likely to Say “I Got It”
Ivan — Best Hype Person
Ambrelle — “One More Question…” Award

We also recognized Gracey, She’Bra, Liv & Blair for their contributions! 👏

We ended with Orientation Jeopardy, where our winning team earned exclusive HOME T-shirts, normally only given to students at Orientation.

‼️ Classes start next week, so you may see our OLs around campus helping our newest Patriots find their way. Say hi! 👋🦊
