What you should expect at your first therapy session part 1!

This is 90% of how the conversations go between me and God….. especially when He is calling me to do something that takes me out of my comfort zone 🥴

Can I be honest and tell you… that I graduated with a 2.2 out of high school. I’m not a “school person” I struggle with test anxiety and I’m just not confident in the classroom…. Now would you believe me if I told you that I’m graduating with my Masters in December?!? Yes my Masters Degree I went from a 2.2 to a 3.6 and it wasn’t easy but what got me through it is….
1. Knowing that everyone doesn’t come to college knowing everything…. If we did it we wouldn’t need college right?
2. There are so many things that are available to you in the classroom. Such as information on learning styles/tools, study groups and academics learning centers and so much more. People get so caught up in what they think “might happen” instead of making that step in faith to just go and actually check it out! You can do it and this is coming from a person who failed BASIC math 3 times and Biology twice….. IN COLLEGE and STILL has trouble with spelling errors on Facebook statuses……

I am grateful to have had a lot of support from my family but actually hearing about what goes into this journey from a PARENT'S point of view hits different!
