The Modern Musical Mind is the private piano studio founded by lead instructor David Zas. Since high school, David has found much joy teaching piano and has students from all ages. He attended Westminster Choir College and earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Education as a piano major. One of our youngest here is improvising over a chord progression. Music is like any language - you learn to speak before you read and write. Just like learning to talk, we don't wait to teach language until you can hold a pencil. Our brain processes music in similar ways.
