Arizona ranks 49th nationwide in per-student spending, 39th for average starting teacher salaries A new report from the National Education Association shows Arizona has fallen to 49th in the nation for per-student spending. It also found that while educator pay has increased in recent years, it hasn’t kept pace with inflation over the past decade, leaving many educators worse off.

FUSD educators are demanding that our district close 50% of the ($5,149!!) gap between our pay and the AZ teacher average! And that has to include the ~2.6% average AZ teacher raise as well, or we'll just be treading water. Pls share if you support a minimum standard of being on par with AZ's (low!) average pay!
