Killip Elementary School is looking for a new library media specialist.
Our fabulous library media specialist, Karen Ortiz, will be enjoying a well-deserved retirement starting in January 2023. We thank her for all she has done for Killip students, teachers, and the community.

The deadline to turn in stories for the commemorative book has been extended to Friday, August 5th. We are excited to hear your stories and see the photos you share.

It is with great excitement that we reach out to you on behalf of the Green Schoolyards Flagstaff team. Our initiative seeks to ensure that a connection to nature becomes an integral part of city and school district priorities, planning, and policymaking. Killip’s new campus will serve as a case study and launchpad for future green schoolyard initiatives at other Flagstaff school campuses.

This forum will provide the opportunity for members of the community and collaborating organizations to become aware of the resources and support available as we move forward with our shared objectives, as well as a chance to bring forth questions, comments, and concerns for our team.

Booths are setting up at the Coconino High School practice field for the “I Can Do it Too!” STEM Festival. The festival will be open from 11 am to 1 pm today. Come join the fun!

On Saturday, November 13th, there will be a fantastic STEM Festival held at Coconino High School. Oscar Landa Samano is working on organizing the event. He wants to make sure everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy STEM as much as he does.
