I know It’s been a little quiet around here, so here’s an update on what’s been happening with Rachel Johnson calligraphy Co. - I taught my last workshop of the year at last week! More workshops to come in the new year, but not sure when. Teaching workshops is my favorite part of this business so I’ll keep you posted on dates in 2020. 🖊✨


For the first time in 5 years since I opened my little Etsy shop, I will be closed for holiday orders, ornaments and custom cards.




I’m not closed forever, but adjusting to being back to work full time and honestly loving every minute of it. You guys, I can’t say thank you enough for riding the seasons of my business with me and supporting me. ♥️ (photo )

Though I’ve been transitioning my business back to more of a side thing- I’m still teaching classes! Come join us at Sunday 10/13 from 12-2. Learn the basics of hand lettering and then letter into pumpkins. There’s always drinks, snacks and a fun atmosphere. The workshop space is my favorite to teach in! Happy Thursday! Still around over here 👋🏻 you may have seen my post a while back- but for those of you who didn’t, here’s what’s new with me! Mid August I’ll be going back to work in education full time and I couldn’t be happier about it! I won’t be teaching but I will be doing all the things I love, working with an amazing team in a new district after a much needed year off.



So what does that mean for my business?! This started as a side hustle so it just means it will scale back down to that! I’ll still be teaching workshops, still taking orders and still have my Etsy shop. I’ll be teaching holiday workshops and doing custom ornaments again too!



This summer has been an amazing time for me to get ready for my new job and reflect on all the ways my business has been exactly what I needed this past year! This year I’ve really focused on my health and what that looks like in all aspects of my life. I’ve been focusing less on social media and more on being present for the summer. So, that’s what’s new with me! Still around for all your lettering needs and still so grateful for all your support! ♥️

In other news though- my Etsy shop is in full swing even though you haven’t seen much from me around here! Lots of custom prints and cards going out today and working on a few custom projects I can’t wait to show you!

In other news- saying goodbye to my 20s this week and I’m not mad about it! I’m Ready for what’s coming this year. But honestly, I still look for the “adult” in the room..

Also, scheduled this post for yesterday and just forgot... hello summer mode. Putting all my energy into painting/re-doing our bedroom and organizing. But still alive over here and filling your Etsy orders and wedding signage needs 🙋🏻‍♀️

Sending out these simple classic place cards this week for a rehearsal dinner! I'd love to letter paper goods for any of your wedding festivities including a rehearsal! Maybe I'm a little biased, but I always love when I attend an event and I have a personal name card!
