These 3rd graders attended the heart of Illinois Orff Elementary Music Festival last Saturday! They had workshops on movement, hand clapping games, singing, and bucket drumming.

The class of 2038 presented a mighty fine program Tuesday night! (This year's kindergarteners.) They sang, played mallet instruments, performed movement, and showed good performer manners. While we tend to focus on the achievements of older students in music ensembles, this important first step on a lifelong musical journey should be celebrated too!

-Monday, May 11: 6:30 PM Grades 6-8 Bands and Choirs - including premiere performance of a song commissioned by the Music Boosters for the junior high choir - all in Irish!
