How does each reunion seem to be more fun than the last one? Our class graduated 133 folks, sixty years ago, and we seem to be closer knit than ever! Perhaps the reality of losing 43 classmates over the years might attribute to the nostalgia. Today 41 of us gathered at this beautiful venue for celebrating 60 years, and many spouses were also in attendance. The potluck revealed what great cooks we have become over the years. Special thanks to Donna E and our setup committee, which included Donna’s daughter and grandsons to help with the heavy lifting. Special guests 🐄 🐄 made their appearance from the neighboring field. Perhaps they knew that Steve C was here, who spent his youth mowing this field! Hats off to the Class of ‘66 from Ferndale High School in Ferndale, Washington! 💙💛💙💛

Yesterday we met with the event planner at the reunion location for final logistics that will help our reunion to run smoothly. A huge thanks to Donna who has made the contacts and arrangements ahead of yesterday’s meeting! The event location is stunning! Donna has had the lead in all of our reunions over the years, and a heartfelt THANK YOU DONNA, from all of us! ❤️This is her final update for our 60th.

Class of ‘66 Reunion Reminder

We are looking forward to seeing everyone that are planning to attend on Saturday, July 18th @ 1:00. If you have now decided to join us, you can remit $20 per person that day.

We are having an hors d’oeuvre potluck. Also provide anything you wish to drink, other than water which will be provided along with dessert.

No personal chairs or ice chests are necessary as they will be provided as well. The address is 2983 Bay Rd. Ferndale. The driveway is at the 2 brick posts. NO PETS ALLOWED (certified service animals ONLY)

Our 60th class reunion planning committee met at Donna’s home today and cemented plans for our celebration in July! In attendance were Donna Murray Erickson, Eileen Reimer Stehr, Heather Nilsen Larson, Sandi Medaris Gish, Angelo Jefferson, Kathy Moles Gustafson, Judy Hartung Bell, Robin Hood Donovan, Salli Dudacek, Wayne Harkleroad, Sandy Fenton Massey, and Arnie Brann. Here are the details:

When: Saturday, July 18 ** note ** this is not Old Settlers Days
Where: 2983 Bay Rd. Ferndale, WA 98248
Time: 1:00 pm until………
Cost : $20 per person
Food to bring: Hearty appetizers to share, dessert provided
Bring your own beverage
Utensils, plates & cups will be provided
No pets allowed, unless Registered Service Animals

Things to ponder: do you still have your name tag w/ Sr. picture from our 50th? If so, wear it!

Would regional groups, Lummi, Lummi Island, North Bellingham, Custer, Central, like to plan additional times together during the weekend? Golf? Wine tasting? Picnic? Hikes? The committee leaves it up to the regional groups.
