Leading the experience will be Dr. Deidra O. Franklin, President of Good-Natured Life, with the leadership segment led by Austin J. Franklin, CEO of Good-Natured Life.

And serving as our host is an exceptional young woman whose leadership and service first brought her into the Good-Natured Life family a few years ago.

Meet Anaya Andre, Good-Natured Life Mentee and 2023 Good-Natured DifferenceMaker of the Year. 🏆

Anaya is a Morehead-Cain Scholar and third-year student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, double majoring in Business Administration and Media & Journalism.

Her work sits at the intersection of building brands, shaping culture, and advancing opportunities for women. ✨️

She is the founder and executive director of Promote Her, Period., a youth-led nonprofit empowering the next generation of women leaders through access, education, and destigmatization while advancing menstrual equity. Through her leadership, the organization has donated more than 15,000 menstrual products and mobilized hundreds of college students.

Anaya's leadership has earned her national recognition, including the 2023 Good-Natured DifferenceMaker of the Year Award, selection to e.l.f. Beauty’s 22 Under 22, the PERIOD. Youth Champion Award, the Black Girl Joy Award, and the Cora Change the Cycle Scholarship.

And after this experience, Anaya—and a select group of remarkable young women—will add another distinction to their journeys:

Our CEO & Leadership Expert, Austin J. Franklin, was selected as a keynote speaker for the 2027 AICD Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado. AICD is the premier national trade organization for independent air compressor distributors, manufacturers, and suppliers.

This event includes executives and leaders from across the country in the industrial machinery industry.

Good-Natured Life hosted its 10th Iconic Woman Conference & Retreat in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

This milestone gathering brought together an incredible group of women for a meaningful experience filled with faith, love, laughter, reflection, movement, and meaningful connection.

The conference theme, “Anchored & Aligned” ❤️💙, provided the foundation for a weekend centered on intentional living, personal reflection, and connection.

Thank you to every woman who attended and contributed to the experience. And to those who registered but were unable to attend, you were missed, and we are grateful you chose to be a part of this special gathering.

Ten reminders of the importance of continuing to show up for an assignment and a purpose.

And so it begins…

Rising Icons — The Work of Becoming™.

Good-Natured Life was honored to kick off this experience at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia, with 25 remarkable young women selected to participate.

Before we even began, you could feel the excitement in the room—the anticipation of what was about to unfold.

Together, we moved through five intentional moments: Identity. Leadership. The Runway. The Integral Pause. Reflection.

CEO and leadership strategist Austin J. Franklin led our Leadership segment, while Dr. Deidra O. Franklin, President of Good-Natured Life and Architect of Rising Icons, guided the young women through Identity, The Runway, The Integral Pause, and a final moment of reflection.

They were invited to think deeply about who they are, how they lead, the direction they are headed, and the choices they will make along the way.

As Rising Icons -The Work of Becoming continues through future virtual and in-person experiences, our purpose remains clear: to help prepare young women not simply for what they want to achieve, but for who they are becoming.
