We begin at the heart, open, ground, and return. A small movement, but so much of life lives here.

Anjali mudra brings the palms together in reverence; a moment to honor where we are before reaching for what comes next.

With the inhale, the arms rise into Padma mudra, the lotus. A symbol of unfolding and growth, it reminds us that something beautiful can emerge from the messy parts of being human.

As we exhale, the hands lower into Bhu mudra, connecting us to the earth. Because opening to possibility also asks us to stay rooted in what supports us.

Then back to Anjali. Back to the heart. A moment to take in what we’ve experienced before beginning again.

For me, that’s the connection: honoring where I am, allowing myself to grow, and staying grounded as I change.

And to be able to share this practice with the most beautiful souls is an incredible honor; to breathe, to move, to heal, alongside women and men who share the same incredible desire to become the best versions of themselves even through the most challenging parts of self awareness - integration, acceptance, letting go, and beginning again.

We practice this with our hands and breath. We carry it into how we live. 🤍 thank you Sarah Davenport and Shaundrella for this gentle flow practice. This was incredibly healing.

My favorite position?

The one that makes me question every decision that led me there. 🙃

I used to think protecting my energy meant keeping people out.
Now I think it’s also about being intentional about who I let in.

People who make you laugh harder. Breathe easier. Move freely.
People you don’t have to perform for, shrink around, or constantly explain yourself to.

And matching energy doesn’t mean being the same.
It means somehow, around them, you feel a little more like yourself.

I’m learning not to underestimate that kind of connection.
It really is medicine.

You don’t need to get over what you feel. You may just need a way to meet it.

The Art of Emotions is a two-hour guided experience where movement, meditation, intuitive painting, and honest human connection become ways of listening…not fixing.

There is no “good” art to make here. No breakthrough to force. No need to arrive with the right words. We will move through Notice, Allow, Listen, Integrate, and Connect, letting the body, breath, color, and texture say what they need to say.

You will leave with the pieces you created: a small, honest record of what you felt, what you allowed, and what you were willing to meet.
