You have to get absolutely tired of your own sh*t before real growth can happen.

Tired of:

💡Repeating the same cycles and expecting a different outcome.
💡Ignoring what your intuition has already shown you.
💡Making excuses for habits you know are keeping you stuck.
💡Shrinking yourself to make other people comfortable.
💡Choosing temporary comfort over long-term peace.
💡Blaming everyone else while avoiding your own accountability.
💡Going back to people, places, and patterns that drain you.
💡Saying you want change while still protecting the version of you that refuses to change.
💡Abandoning yourself just to feel chosen, accepted, or understood.
💡Knowing better but continuously choosing what feels familiar.

At some point, you have to become more uncomfortable with staying the same than you are afraid of becoming someone new.

Growth is soft in some seasons, but in others, it requires you to be firm with yourself.

You can love yourself deeply and still say, “Enough. I can’t keep doing this to me.”🙅🏾‍♀️

I have realized that a lot of adults are afraid to truly sit with their real selves, so they hide behind alcohol, w**d, validation, being enabled, religion, relationships, distractions, etc. That facade has to be justified somehow because sitting with yourself requires accountability.

It requires you to acknowledge your patterns, your wounds, your intentions and the parts of yourself you may not necessarily like. Some people would rather keep finding something or someone outside of themselves to validate who they pretend to be than actually do the uncomfortable work of becoming who they truly are.

You can only run from yourself for so long though… eventually, your real self is going to require your attention💡✨
