We are excited to share our first fall course flyer! Dr. Smith is going to be offering Medieval Pig Latin for the first time at the UofA. Per Dr. Smith, “there are a lot of features of the medieval form that you don’t see in later linguistic structures, and I think the course will be a lot of fun for any students of philology.”

Whether you go sappy or serious, we’ve got a few Valentine ideas for you.

Today, Dr. Laura Gray and students from her Medical Narratives class joined the Arkansas Veterans Home at UAMS in celebrating Valentines Day! Students in this course are researching patient health literacy and are building relationships with patients and staff through events like this one.

Priorities. Stay safe and warm everyone as the storm comes this weekend.
